Coming back to Australia

Alright, Aussies, I, Travis Hartman, am coming back down under in December until February. I want to fight in Australia Can someone line this up so I can cross it off my bucket list and fight in Australia finally. :-). With plenty of notice I would love to finally get in there with Cameron Hammond and give him a run for his money. Give me enough time to prepare and we can put on one hell of a show. Good luck to Jarrod Fletcher in his match with Geale... Fletcher camp treated me right last year and it was a pleasure meeting them all.. Hope to do it again. I see they are fighting at the Hisense Area, if I am right, isn't there a Hisense Arena where the play the Australian open? I remember last year when my gf was playing there, that there was a hisense arena. could be wrong.

The Australian tennis Open uses Hisense Arena. But it is NOT where the Final is held. That is a separate stadium less than half a mile up the road.
I read you had an extremely successful amateur career Travis. Something like 156 wins 13 losses?

There is no result listed for Travis' fight. It was meant to be on the Kameda vs Hernandez card. Kameda retained his WBO title beating Hernandez on a split decision. But no result for Hartman vs Martin?

I think he's more a boxing writer than a fighter now isn't he?
Anyway, he lost to Martin by UD. His 5th loss in a row. Makes it 13 out of his last 16, but he's in there having a go. So credit to him

I did lose a six round decision to Alex Martin last week in Chicago on the showtime TV undercard. Tough kid and a lefty. He had KOed everyone but one person before me as well. But, as much as I wish I would have taken a different route in choosing who I fought in my career, I look back now and don't regret it. Made some amazing connections and learned the business side of this boxing game. I started a management company a little over a year ago and I have a successful stable of undefeated fighters, including my younger brother. With that being said, the problem with boxing is we care too much about records. When its all said and done, I fought some of the toughest guys from 140-154... look at my record, guys went on to be world champs that I fought and a couple will be world champs still. It is what it is and I enjoy fighting still and I love being involved in all aspects of this boxing game. I have fought in the most famous venues, Madison square garden, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic city, fought on HBO, ESPN, Showtime, FOX networks in Germany and Canada and Mexico. I am having fun and getting paid to do it. But, if one of these up and comers gives me enough time to prepare properly for a match against them don't be surprised when a 12-21-1 beats some blown up record kid. Also, some of you repeat my record on this post as if I don't know what it is or who I have fought and what my results have been... lol. Thanks for the reminder, but I know exactly what my record is and who I have fought, I was there. :-). Also, while it does list me as having tko's and KO's losses, not once in my amateur career, 156-13, or my pro career 12-21-1, have I have been knocked out or knocked unconscious.. I am still healthy, pretty, and enjoying the hell out of this amazing sport. Now, if any Aussies want to give me that opportunity down under, I would happily take it :-).
Cheers mates. See you in December regardless if I fight or not.

Last time he was out here, I sent him a PM giving him the opportunity of Sam Colimban on a Brian Armatruder show, no reply!
We have two suitable fighters for him now but he is full of shit, he never replied to me nor did he acknowledge my comments on here. Heath Ellis and Brett O'Callaghan are going to be going through a respected matchmaker, I would suggest he do the same.

Dberry, who are you talking to? Because I have no clue what you are saying. You sent me a pm about an opportunity with Sam Colimban? Please clue me in here because if anybody has ever met me they would tell you I am not "fool of Poo" so I would like for you to please back up what you are saying.. If I am wrong I will be the first to admit it, but it sounds like I may not be the one full of poo... Btw, I just upset Ahmad Cheikho by 5th round knockout last night. He was 16-5. I can fight and given the right opportunity and training, I can and do compete with some good fighters.
I am still waiting to see what you are talking about though and don't feel its very professional to what you said.

Dale, that is a real stand up thing to do. It is much appreciated. Christian can look In his fb inbox right now and it will still show the message was sent way back in January. But anyways. I do want to fight. It's what I do. I never back down. If the right opportunity presented itself while I am in Australia, I would more
Than willing to take it. My gf is playin in Brisbane beginning of Jan and then in Sydney and finally Melbourne for the Australian Open! I leave jan. 24. And get to Aussie dec. 26!! My boxrec ranking has jumped considerably since my knockout win last Saturday.
