A lot of what he says is true, but I don't blame them one bit for turning the offer down. £400k is great money, but they shouldn't be fighting each other in Dubai.

Yeah but im guessing that's why the money is there to begin with because backers from Dubai are probably funding it.

If backers in Dubai are willing to stump up that sort of money then Quigg has good reason to imagine it could be more than a little dodgy.

Galahad looks a very tidy and nimble boxer but I don't think he'd be able to hold Quigg off - there is a difference in levels and power.

Apparanly Galahad schooled Quigg in sparring and also Quigg has been down in the past against guys that are probably lighter hitters than Galahad is. I think Galahad would outbox him.

Lefty you're quite the fan of sparring rumours lol...I'm still not sold on Galahad & I'd fancy Quigg to stop him at some point. Saying that, it seems Galahad is very well thought of by pretty much everyone who's trained or sparred with him, so he must have a lot more about him than he's needed to show so far.

I do know one thing for certain - it's a damn shame to have 3 of our most promising prospects in the same weight division on 3 different channels!

He is probably right when he says its Joe that doesn't fancy it.Its a good fight and I have watched Galahad from the start but the "robbing a living" is a bit much,I'd back Quigg to beat him and stop him as well.

Quigg couldnt knock out a guy (Salinas) that was subsequently knocked out in his next fight by a 15-7 guy.

This approach reminds me of another Manchester lad and a Hennessy-promoted Ingle fighter.

Galahad wasn't that harsh. He called Quigg a world champion when Quigg is really the WBA's version of a Silver champion.

Kid is considerably better boxer in my opinion. Quigg seems tougher but he has to show something more to convince me he can beat Galahad (I wish he'd grow up and did not use that idiotic nickname though).

No excuse why Quigg vs Galahad should not happen next. Quigg has no opponent it has to happen, Galahad would take the fight. If Hearn tries to get some no mark that no one has heard of or cares about hes cheating the fans. Quigg gets hammered on here and rightly so. Make the fight hearn.

stylewise i think Galahad could give Quigg an awful lot of problems. I think he would outpoint him.

It was at Brian Hughes gym in Manchester after Barry had had one pro fight. Tyson Fury couldn't believe what he was seeing!

if i was the Galahad camp I'd be looking to spend a lot of the time southpaw vs Quigg, think Q looks awkward vs lefties it seems to mess with his rythmn and he seems to square his feet up a lot

I don't think Galahad would knock Quigg out, but I could see him picking up the title on points.

Quigg is a great example of how the 'Super Champion' and 'Regular Champion' belts are such a joke. Fighters should be clambering to fight Rigondeaux so they have a shot at his belt, but as long as you have these diluted belts boxers will always be looking to fight the lesser champion.

Whatever, Galahad is almost certainly going to be better than the as yet unnamed blown up former WBC interim silver emeritus flyweight title challenger with trunks up by his nipples(who no doubt went the distance with someone who was world ranked 7 years ago) from Argentina/Mexico/Panama that Eddie is currently searching for.

To be fair though lets not forget Quigg is good in his own right.

I like both fighters and would love to see this happen, i'm a Sheffield lad so I hope Galahad wins but I don't think it would be an easy nights work...far from it.

I would like to see this fight for sure.

2) The timezone doesn't work for TV
3) You're therefore completely reliant on a major benefactor/sponsor, but these people see a far better ROI from events such as the golf and horse-racing, in terms of building 'Brand Dubai'.

What about the ADCC submission championships? Also though, surely with all the expats out there, there must be somewhat of market for the likes of boxing and the like if there interesting fights?
