It's fair enough Saunders saying he won't disrupt his training for the benefit of a press conference given Eubank's record of not turning up for press conferences, but I think that Skype thing wasn't the greatest idea ever. We haven't seen how it worked from the other side but everything will have been on about a 2 second delay won't it and I get the impression it will be the guys that end trying to speak and Saunders voice suddenly screeching out of the speakers.

It didn't work very well at the London end either but at least they tried.

It seems like it nearly kicked off at the end aswell with Eubank Snr being awkward and saying they wouldnt turn up at a press conference the week of the fight (im guessing so they didnt have to be face to face with Billy) and then Frank nearly went mental haha.

BJS's behavior is certainly strange. Seems to think that Jr is scared? To me he just looked thoroughly uninterested and rather bored of the inane expletive laden ranting of BJS.

Eubank will proberly do BJS on the night. We havent seen the best In Eubank no sure what the best is in BJS as ive not studied any of his fights, but the Eubanks are not daft. They will know if they can beat Saunders or not and if they felt he was too higher quality at the moment they would certainly not take the fight. Eubank is proberly making more money than BJS so why risk it all?

I feel Eubank will knock out Saunders. Those Eubanks are not silly!!

Mickey im not talking about gross income from inside the ring, believe me Eubank will have endorsements outside the ring, BJS wont.

Really, what endorsements? Not so sure that Eubank Jnr has earned that much money to be honest.

I've not seen Eubank Jnr linked to any products either.

I maybe wrong but I would be very surprised if Jr wasnt making any kind of money outside the ring through sponsorship deals in one form or another.

He could well be making money elsewhere but if i was his sponsor i wouldn't be happy that on a dedicated boxing forum we've not been able to come up with one so far.

I don't know about Eubanks but a lot of sponsorship is more subtle nowadays. There's not the same requirement for big announcements now that so many photos are being taken and posted up online. If you've got a big Twitter following you get free stuff. Haye got given a Bentley a couple of years back. Not a one of those TOWIE types hasn't got a flash car to drive around in. Clothes, accessories, technology, food, etc...

Eubank jnr has something like 100k followers on twitter though. Saunders for instance in comparison has about 30k. Whilst Eubank jnr has been boxing stiffs he still seems to have quite a good profile. I'm guessing because of who his dad is but also because of the fights he had on channel 5.

Have to say, I turned the conference off after a couple of minutes, very hard to watch with no input from the other side. Just Billy ranting off.

I still don't expect it to happen but I think we could be in for a 12 rounder. Depends who lasts the distance but BJS is proven over 12. If Eubank gets him out of there, surely he is on the scene then, can hardly go back to fighting 95/5 fights.

So you haven't watched Saunders, but know that Eubank Jr will beat him. How does that work? They may think he can beat Saunders, but that doesn't mean he will. One is British, Commonwealth and European champion, been 12 rounds on a number of occasions, beaten his main challengers at domestic level and was a top quality amateur and Olympian. The other has beaten Latvian bouncers, never been past 8 rounds and has very little amateur pedigree, but has a famous father who was an excellent fighter. I know which one I'm picking. Saunders got £61k for fighting Ryder, as Mickey said, Eubank Jr won't have made much more. Billy can't be too badly if he can stick stuff like this on twitter - his response to Junior claiming he didn't have £20k

Jez Wilson is out of the fight with Eubank again. That's a shame as I feel a fully fit Wilson would have been a good measuring stick for Eubank. allegedly has been quoted as saying they are looking for the "easiest opponent possible". Ryan Aston might be a good shout as he's also a southpaw.
