Elcock gets another win

Wayne Elcock out pointed Michael Monaghan on the Sport network card sat 5th June,Monaghan was a late replacement when waynes original opponent pulled out unexpectidly, the day before, Elcock only had a few hours notice for tough Monaghan, who lost a contraversial decision to Lockett(most felt Monaghan won the fight), Elcock boxed on the back foot for most of the fight and doubled the jab well, his defence looked excellent with Monaghan only catching him with a couple off right hooks, which Elcock took well and fired back with his own, all in all a good win.
Kevin Mitchell was in action against a game Nesbitt, Mitchell looked very profesional as he went about his work, they need to let him off the leash abit more though, my only gripe with the evening was Sports network, everyone was standing around outside from 5.30pm (as advertised on ticket) until 6.20 to get in and with the late opponent changes for a few boxers they can only be described as a shambles.
