It's extremely plausible that along with the three that you named, the likes of Ezzard Charles, Bob Fitzsimmons, Billy Conn, Gene Tunney, Harry Greb, Joey Maxim, Jimmy Bivins & John Henry Lewis all get in ahead of Moorer.

And that's not even mentioning Tommy Loughran, Maxie Rosenbloom, Sam Langford, Matthew Muhammad, Dwight Qawi, Virgil Hill, Philly Jack O'Brien, Willie Pastrano ---

I didn't even realise that I named as many fighter's as I did there. As a matter of fact, I would have Moorer away down on my list. I'm not even sure he makes my top 20.

But if one were to ask me, who is the greatest LHW of all time... I think it comes down to a three way tie: Charles, Tunney and Moore. I'd also throw in Billy Conn as an honorable mention, who probably on any given night of defeated those three, or at least won a fight or two in a series.

ezzard Charles was the greatest light heavy, his record speaks for itself. what other light heavy could

go 15rds with rocky Marciano, cut rockys nose off and almost have the ref stop it. show me another

light heavy that could give Marciano all he wanted. and like the last poster said bust up archie moore 3 times.

Marciano was jst a bit ovr light heavy
