Now I know its not the greatest card ever to be shown on Sky but I am interested to see how the main 3 fights go as there are imponderables in all
three that do interest me.

McDonnell/Malinga, This seems a big step up for McDonnell class wise and I thought he was a bit lucky to get the draw against Wale. Malinga whilst beaten by Hall has mixed at
a pretty good level and despite losing 3 of his last six they have all been world title fights. However, now here is the bit that interests me, have his team correctly gambled that they will
simply be too big for Malinga at Super-Bantam and that its a risk worth taking to get a "name" on Gav's record, or will the quality that Malinga obviously has to a certain degree negate the weight
difference.

Coyle/Katsidis, What has the "Great" got left, he has been over here for a while training with Maurice Core I believe and apparently looking decent but again it seems a calculated gamble by the
Coyle team to get a "name" on the record and fighting someone who has clearly seen better days, However again there has to be concerns about whether Coyle can take Katsidis body attacks.
Having watched Katsidis last two fights he has definitely lost something but its still an interesting fight in my view because of the above.

Campbell/Brizuela, The visitor gave Coyle all he could handle of that there is no doubt but at the risk of ending up with egg on my face this is the least likely fight in my view to have any
of the visitors winning. Campbell looks to big and strong for me and I could even see the possibility of him doing a number on the Argentinian.

I know we don't talk much about some of the weekend bills that are around so I thought I would see if there was any interest out there for the above bouts.

I don't think much of Coyle. If Katsidis is 80% of the fighter he once was he beats Coyle. Campbell v Brizuela is interesting. Is it too much to ask for it to beat like the Coyle v Brizuela fight? I think Campbell might be too good technically to let it turn into a knock down fest and I expect him to win on points.

its alot better than the mismatch cards Eddie has put on latley

I think Katsidis stops Coyle, even though he is past his best.
Campbell beats Brizuela comfortably, as he will have learned from Coyle's mistakes.
G Mcdonnell vs Mallinga has potential to be a war, Mcdonnell will need to fight the fight of his life to pull it off.

Sarcasm aside, I'm intrigued by the Coyle Katsidis match. Always enjoyed watching Katsidis and his training ethics in the past were immense. Have to admit I'll be cheering on the visitor in that one.

I fear that Tommy Coyle could come undone against Katsidis. Interesting that Eddie is hoping to match Coyle with Luke Campbell next summer in a stadium fight, so he must be confident of him doing the job as he needs to keep Coyle winning to maximise this potential bout.
I think this all depends on how shopworn Katsidis is but either way it's a big step up for Tommy and he needs to be at his best.
Looking forward to it though, going with a load of lads from Tommy's Academy.

Surprised the bookies have Malinga and McDonnell very close.

Should be a decent night. Though if the casuals buy into Bellew and Celverly we may have to pay more for cards of this standard.............

Katsidis isn't shop worn, he's just outright shot.

I still think he might knock Coyle out though, who quite frankly doesn't strike me as being above British level as yet.

Malinga will beat McDonnell. he again is not above a British title level, and would not have had a long reign with his Lonsdale had he not ran away from it.

Campbell will prove Coyles level by outclassing the Argie by far.
