I thought they might just slip away quietly. I couldn't name a winner of one of these off the top of my head other than Audley. I even went to one and couldn't tell you who won. Think it was a fella from the NE at cruiserweight or similar.

Pretty much. Prizefighter is alright, but it's pretty much just something to be enjoyed along side proper boxing.

If Sky was still showing boxing every weekend, I wouldn't mind them trotting out a Prizefighter every couple of months. But, like you, nothing about them sticks in the mind.

As there are only a certain amount of boxing dates on Sky Sports now, I'd prefer they were being used for stuff that isn't as take-it-or-leave it as Prizefighter.

John murray and richard commey would be huge names for prizefighter. Would have preferred international heavys though.

Thought they'd fornicating got rid of these, on top of all the other shite, we now get shite that I wouldn't even class as professional boxing, fantastic coverage from sky as usual.

Sweat Jesus, it wouldn't surprise me either.... Prizefighter is like needing a huge dump. But when you get to the toilet, it's just a fart.

Horrible TV for the boxing fan. As an experiment it was fun, but didn't really deliver. Can it.

''The only way we could do a prizefighter as huge as this is on pay per view,it's a massive night for british boxing and i think the fact the york hall sold out in 2 weeks (which is a world record) shows that pay per view was clearly warranted.

Once again the fans are the real winners here''.

Would love to see them put tony pace and lee Connelly in it. Both lads have had tough runs early, and john Murray just for entertainment
