Has anyone bought any photos from them beofore? if so what are they like? or is their a cheaper company. I was thinking of buying some pictures and later getting the fighters to sign them, just some stuff for my collection.

Action Images have some really good shots...not sure what they charge now...I used to buy them off a guy in the pub whose mate was a professional photographer at all the big fights and promotional shots with boxers and footballers....He used to only charge me GBP1.50 per photo but I have lost touch with him... :(

Action Images are an independent company and not owned by Getty Images. You are thinking of Allsport there. (I used to work for Getty and still work in the industry)

A lot of image agencies will only supply their images for professional media use and not to individuals - for example some agencies won't sell anything for under £50. Best to see if you can contact any of their photographers directly.

Action Images have a great web site with a search facility.
They're not cheap - but you only get what you pay for.
8 x 6 £15.95 I think.

Yep I still work in the industry - I work for a smaller agency now but have worked for the big two agencies. Been in the industry for 6 years now.

It's a very small industry so once you know a few people the normally know a few people etc so hopefully should be able to answer your questions.

PM me if there is anything I can help with.
