What's peoples opinion on this one?
Seems to be plodding along under the radar.
Personally think this is a cracker of a fight.
Young Jack looks to have bags of talent and carries ko power.Looks a very dangerous counter puncher and very patient in picking his shots.....experienced head on young shoulders.
Stalker although unbeaten has had to labour for his wins and has shown bags of heart,talent and a decent beard.
I'm going for the win with young jack here.....as long as he keeps up a decent work rate and doesn't let stalker dance away with the rounds.

havent saw much of catterall other than his ko win last time
Stalker hasnt looked great since turning pro and in catteralls interview with Glyn evans he certainly seems very confident of stopping stalker.

sounds as if it should be fight of the night , wont nearly get as much creidt as Eubank Jnr Uppercutting his "opponent" or landing 20 unaswered power shots

I went to both fights if Stalker is like he was last time out he gets stopped no problem.

Jack looking far from over awed ....Stalker not too good at the old intimidation approach.
Fair play to both lads.....can't wait

I think Stalker showed in his last fight that he is very beatable, he bottled it from Jenkins but this isn't an easier fight. Catterall in rounds 5-8

Stalker looked an average amateur & looks quite a poor pro, can't see him going far at all.

I like Tom Stalker, seems a really decent fella - but I'm not sure he wins this. Catterall has a good defence and pretty explosive when he wants to be.

Stalker is tough and proud, and fighting in front of his home crowd. Might be eager to impress. By the same token, Catterall has no pressure on him.

I see what you're saying mate. A lot will disagree but you do get guys that achieve high honours in the amateurs that dont look that great. Doesnt mean they wont do good things though I suppose. For instance years ago when Froch was coming up, I thought he'd become a world champion but i didnt think he'd end up being quite as good as he has been. I always thought he was too slow on his feet in all honesty.

However good he was as an amateur, I have never been impressed with Stalker as a pro.

watched allegedly programme on stalker last night and he comes across as really nice guy
looks to be having great life over in Marbella and was moving into big house with his family , really needs to keep winning to keep that up though

says he wanst to stay out there for rest of his career and then see how it goes,

Agree that Stalker seems a nice enough guy, but the fact he freely admits he can't punch for toffee really does put a ceiling on how far he'll go.
Catterall doesn't seem to respect his rep, and if you haven't got the power to keep them in check, these game, aggressive young kids can be a nightmare to fight.

Catterall was right on the ten stone limit, they looked a bit worried that he was going to be over.

I cant actually remember now but it might of been! Lol.

I've just watched a bit of catterall for the first time and my initial thoughts are that he seems to be thinker in the ring. He's not just a hard hitter I dont think. One thing i did notice though is that he seems a little static. Doesnt seem like he has the quickest feet. Stalker might give him problems in that regard possibly. He looks decent though. Should be an intriguing one.
