"BAM!" and Budler floors his man.

Entertaining fight.
One feels that Budler has just that little more.

Liebenberg brave, but Alvares has this.

One wonders if this is the maximum level Liebenberg reaches.

I sure hope for his sake it is. It's frightening to think what would happen to him against a guy like Kovalev or the other top light heavyweights.

I mean, Alvarez is good, but he isn't exactly the most aggressive guy and he busted up Liebenberg in an ugly way over just 7 rounds.

This is what happens, if you talk too much & underestimate your opponent.

I had never seen Liebenberg fight before so had to look him up on youtube and watched his fight before Alvarez noticed straight away his balance wasn't very good and looked easy to hit so knew Alvarez would have no trouble catching him

Good win for Alvarez.

I thought he looked tepid in his last three bouts prior to this, so as someone who was very impressed with him earlier in his career it was refreshing to see him get a one-sided stoppage in a bout that I expected to be significantly more competitive. Fonfara is fighting tonight and I'd love to see him against Alvarez next; if Alvarez won that in decent style I think he'd be a very credible title challenger if he isn't already.
