At 154, he actually would. It would be kind of reminiscent of DLH getting the piss beat out of him, or Cotto, or Margarito. However, if Golovkin were to lose to whoever, I would like to see it at some weight higher than 154 so it wouldn't be tainted.

He was 165 30 days before Rubio, and 161 5 days before. Most super welters are way heavier at that stage. So doubt that, Pac was having trouble with Margaritos body punching at 150
