Its like the commonwealth title dosent exist at lighweight no one will fight him. Even derry pulled out a fight with him.

I actually think we are in a great position in the UK where everyone is fighting each other. Can't remember a time where fighters at all levels are getting it on.

Having said that, i think Martin Murray is being avoided by Macklin and Lee.

I think we'll see Lee/Macklin/Murray get it on once GGG disposes of Murray. Not that I don't wish Murray well mind; just can't see him beating GGG.

Other than the fight between Stalker and Catterall at the weekend, we very rarely see unbeaten prospects fighting each other.

I am not sure what the previous poster meant by being in a good position with "everyone fighting each other" because I don't see it.

There are potentially some really good fights to be made at every single weight division, but I would guess that 90% of them will never be made.

Domestic boxing is very segregated - if you don't have an amateur pedigree and/or a good ticket seller then you will not get any opportunities and if you do have an amateur pedigree and/or a ticket seller then you will be managed to a certain position without taking any risks.

Lee Haskins. He's got to be wondering how he can beat everyone on the domestic scene and still not get a chance against them when they bypass him on the way up to a 'world' belt.

David Price might fall into this category, after his 2 losses what rewards would someone get facing him? But still the risk is pretty big to face him with the right hand he could land

I agree with what some of the others have already said, I think that Kid Galahad is avoided by other British fighters.

I'm not specifically talking about Frampton or Quigg - I mean others like Liegh Wood, Michael Maguire or Thomas Ward who wouldn't go anywhere near him.

I can't agree with this one - after his 2 defeats all half decent heavyweights with a bit of ambition would be queuing up to fight him.

Leigh Wood is in the ingle gym with Galahad isn't he?

Ward's only 20 and Maguire still hasn't fought an 8 rounder so he couldn't fight Galahad even if he wanted to. The only fighter that hasn't fought Galahad is Gavin McDonnell and promotional issues make that unlikely.

Adam Etches seems to be avoided by the best domestic fighters in the division. I used to go to school with one of his relatives and he was saying they'd been trying to get a fight with Eubank Jr for ages but keep being told its the wrong time in their careers.

And Etches turned down a fight with Lewis Taylor. In all honesty I don't think any fighter's massively avoided, who does the most avoiding would be interesting though, if he wasn't fighting Saunders, Eubank Jr would be near the top of that list.
