Jesus wept. The guy just winds me up. I hope Cleverly smashes him up. Just a total winging scouser.

Nothing will make me happier if clev knocked bellew out in liverpool. Bellew is such a tit, his plastic hardman routine is utter bs, stevenson and clev have already proved that. He just a bitter man who is jealous of clev. It must be a bitter pill to swallow to acknowledge that clev was a world champ and he wasnt, and he beat him in his home town in front of his family and friends. Really hope clev can pull it off again.

You can dislike/slag Bellew all you want and thats fine, but when you chat 5hit about bellew being jealous of clev that just makes you sound daft

When your jelous of someone you want to have something they have or you want to be them. Clev is not a world title holder or he does not have half the fan base bellew has neither does he sell half the tickets he sells, so when you say jealous you may want to look that word up mate, otherwise you look a bit of an idiot. :KO:

Bellew is not jealous of cleverly one percent the same way cleverly is not jealous of bellew one percent they just dis like each other, that happens allot of time in boxing. In 3 weeks time we will see who comes out on top :TU:

Tony, Tony is that you? Why did you change your username Lol?

But seriously, Bellend has got good reason to be jealous:
1: Clev actually managed to win and defend a bonfide world title, unlike Bellend.
2: er Clev actually has already defeated Bellend legitimately, so Tony is clearly bitter

And er 3: I won't find out in 3 week's time, as I refuse to pay PPV for a dogsh1te British level fight which should be shown for free. I will have to wait for the result online.

**Peace**

Just let me clear a couple of things up mate.

1. Clev has never won a belt off a legitimate champion, he was handed the belt. I doubt very much Bellew is jealous of that.

2 your second point about Cleverly beating bellew. Yes he has beaten Bellew on paper that is fact, but allot of people had it a draw and some had bellew winning the fight. It was a very close fight and thats what makes the rematch so good. Bellew may be sour over losing and he might want to revenge his loss but again that is not a jealous matter.

3rd you will still find out in 3 weeks time as you will look the result up. If you dont look the result up then you are obviously not a boxing fan and shouldnt be on this site, so i dont quite understand your point "you wont find out in 3 weeks"?

The debate i was having was to do with if Bellew is jealous. None of your points show him being jealous, all they show is you dislike bellew and achievements clev has done.

I could easy turn round and say to you clev is jealous then coz

1. Bellew has by far a bigger fan base.

2. Bellew has far more people turn up to watch him fight.

3. Bellew hits harder than cleverly

all i am doing is naming attributes. It doesnt mean cleverly is jealous of them its just me naming things Bellew has. Like i said earlier neither clev or bellew are jealous of one another. They dislike each other and both want to win, I dont know where you get jealous from???

Bellew talks nonsense sometimes.
He said last night that he had never claimed to be a massive puncher, yet there are dozens of articles and videos on YouTube where he does just that.
As for calling Bellew a paper champion, I wonder if he had won the belt himself would he be calling himself a paper champion? Of course not.

You could say Clev has sold as many tickets as Boomer for this fight. It's never anywhere near a sellout when Boomer boxes anyone else. You could have fit the crowd against Macintosh into The Olympia, and the undercard lads sold most of them! It's a myth Tony is a huge seller.

All an act.

Those lines when he says, 'I'm only here coz I have to be'???

Well I don't believe that for a second, you are there mate because you know it will help to sell the fight.

I'm not sure how anyone can think Bellow came across ok last night....he didn't, whereas in my opinion Clev was more respectful and reasoned in his answers.

It is often said that you are your best/worst own PR man.

He is articulate, intelligent and is a good fighter, he just doesn't help himself at times.

When in "fight mode" he seems to become a complete idiot. He is generally a bit of an idiot when talking about himself. People say it's all for show but im not sure it is.
Other than that he seems a decent fella.

I remember when Nelson done his knee in when training with him on ringside. Getting in to the ice cold bath Bellew was saying things like 'this is what makes me who I am' etc and giving it to Johnny a bit because he couldn't hack it. Bellew couldn't lace Nelson's boots and won't achieve a quarter of what Johnny did in the game!

Yes Clev was pretty much handed the belt but the champ Braehmer was stripped of it for constantly getting injured and pulling of a fight with Clev who was mandatory challenger.

That was hilarious with Johnny and the ice bath though

1. Don't really mind who wins
2. They're both annoying at times (Tony more so)
3. They're both jealous of Carl Froch because of his missus

Cleverly is calm, logical, focused and realistic. Bellew is just crackers. He'd argue Wednesday was Thursday and probably convince himself it was.

Cleverly wins this fight.

Everything surrounding the fight just seems so forced.

Eddie's comments 'Giving the British boxing public the fight that they all want to see' or words along that path.

No Eddie, you are hyping a domestic level clash, filled out with paper thin under-card bouts and trying to sell it off as 'The biggest fight in the division' and 'The world is waiting for the result of this massive fight' and not forgetting 'Every champion in the division will be wanting to fight the winner'... At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

Bellew makes it so hard to like him, personality wise and in the ring - other than the Cleverly fight, he`s bored me to tears! Have kept watching in the hope that he might change (hang on, maybe that's his game!?)
Last chance Bellew

Did he really? Nelson would have stood Bellew 'on his head' (to use the wincobank expression) in their cruiserweight primes.

Styles make fights.
Nelson would have beat both because both place emphasis on power.
Nelson would have picked them off and certainly in the case of Bellew he would have got so frustrated at not being able to tag Nelson would have walked on to one.

Tony??? Is that you?? Bottom line is clev was a world champ who defended his belt several times including in bellew backyard.....your saying bellew wouldn't have wanted to do that himself. Why else would hate clev so much and talk about him24/7 he's clearly jealous of the guy and he makes it obvious by talking about him all the time

So your saying that tony would rather sell a few more tickets than be a former defending world champion who beat clev???? Great point there tony/righthook

Haye at cruiser would have literally beat them both in the first fight. Enzo Mac would have had too much for both too.
