Just going on from a thread about the Fraudster himself. I mentioned Horice Notice. Then thought about him so did a search to see what Horice was upto today. I didnt find that out however did learn that his wife is an actress, played Etta Tavernier in Eastenders, and had a part in The Bill



Not sure what he is upto today and would be interested to know as his wife no longer acts and he no longer boxes.

Anyone know what Horice is doing and more importantly, Horice retired undefeated with eye issues. Do you think he could have gone all the way. Better than Bruno???

Don't know how he is doing recently - but I remember he got done as he had a security firm that protected illegal raves during the 90's - not heard anything since.

Boxing wise, he was too small to have gone to the top of the heavyweights even back in the late 1980's - he was only 6ft 1ins and 14 and a half stone but his win over the very good Analect Wamba showed us that he would have been a world class cruiserweight - especially if the limit had been raised to 200 lbs as it is today, he would have been right in his element. He didn't weigh too much over 200lbs in all of his career.

He was about to fight Francesco Damiani for the EBU title, Damiani would have been too big and slick in my opinion but if Horace could have got down to 190lbs (a big ask because he was solid at the weight he fought at) he would have been a world beater.

Bruno? Bruno would have beaten up 99% of 1980's heavyweights, including Damiani - Bruno was criminally undermatched in his career, such a shame really.

The tarverniers had a lot of problems with sickle cell if I remember. That's about the most knowledge I can contribute to this thread sadly.

Clyde was a promising boxer, but when he got wrongly accused of murdering Eddie Royle, it spelled the end for him.

I believe he was. They were impressed with his punch delivery after a brawl in the vic.

I can't confirm, but that's some impressively useless bit of trivia if it's true.

I remember them saying grant was banned from boxing cause he hit his opponent with a ice bucket.

I just had to google some of these names to see what the eff you were all talking about,even then i still thought this Clyde chap was a real bloke

I know of Jevon but never knew he was in Eastender,and he boxed in real ife

Horace is still married to Jaqui, she works as a legal consultant for offenders when they get nicked, dont know the technical term, lives in Bromley, has 2 daughters, Horace now drives a Taxi, I still see them every now and then.
