He's currently subject to a European Arrest Warrant from the Spanish authorities and was bailed a few weeks ago after an extradition hearing. They want him out there to serve a 4 year sentence that was handed down a couple of years ago. The status of the EAW in this country is currently up in the air a bit with a vote due in parliament in the next couple of weeks on whether to opt out of it from 1st December, it's likely to stay in place, but there is the possibility that MPs vote out of it. That would push the extradition back and they would probably need to come to some sort of agreement with the Spanish authorities on an extradition treaty if one isn't already place, then put in a new request for extradition.

I'm not sure Scott actually has a boxing license right now, it was reinstated in August, presumably on the condition he stay out of trouble, then a day later he was up in court after being arrested for assault and will stand trial in February.

There I was thinking we were talking about 'yes I can' man.

I'm slightly baffled as to why the Spanish authorities seem to be so desperate over the last 8 years or so to keep Harrison on their shores to serve time - I would have thought they would be desperate to be rid of him

hes still in tremendous condition , would still give anyone in Britain at the weight a hard nights work going by his last fight against Walsh

Thanks expe, i was aware of the ongoing saga but not the ins and outs. Hope he keeps busy and starts taking the sport serious again.

This can only mean disaster for thousands of innocent crisps. I hear umpteen bags of walkers are cowering in fear at the mere thought of Harrison being back back on the prowl.

Don't know why he doesn't take up body building fulltime probably do ok at it maybe better than is boxing career at this time.
