Eddie Hearn Interview Special - Thursday 6th November
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn makes his debut on the Nuthouse Podcast to answer questions on a range of subjects. The November 22nd PPV is discussed along with Scott Quigg’s merits as a world champion, the pressure on Anthony Joshua. What fans can expect in 2015 plus a lot more.
Just finished talking to him for 90 mins. Asked him what the fans want to know, I believe. Please, check it out.

On Scott Quigg:
Not enough money to fly over and fight LSC. No money in a UK Rigo fight and doesn't think Gallahad deserves it.
Where does Quigg go?

Nice 1 and fair play to Eddie for coming on. 1 of my biggest gripes is he keeps saying with Kell Brook injury they decided to build a mammoth card. There is interviews before Kell got the injury were he said it was going to be a stacked card anyway. Kell Brooks injury should've signalled the end of the ppv for me.

Just finished listening.
I really enjoyed that, I thought you both came across really well, Eddie and you guys.
Certainly a lot of the questions I had in my head were answered.
I think deep down Hearn knows it isn't a PPV card but he cant admit that with Sky being his boss technically.
Good stuff though guys, and the audio wasn't a big as issue as I thought it would be once I got used to it.

Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it. We tried our best to ask what the fans really wanted to know.

I'm at the part he's just said the 22nd show is better value than Franks 29th show.......I think we can take everything from that on how much Hearn should be listened to.

I read on twitter that Buncey loved it too.

Buncey said it was shite yet also said he hadn't listened to any of it. Maybe he's had a bad day.

Laughable about Quigg. How exactly do Quiggs last few (and current) opponents 'deserve it'?

Just listened to this, some good points from both sides and u have to give credit to eddie for coming on and answering every single question
Good interview they should have him back on it after the show has finished and see who was right and if the bouts where as close or as one sided as they thought

Enjoyed it, especially the Quigg part. Fair play to Eddie for going on and not avoiding any question.

Eddie just said on Sky that AJ could be the best Heavyweight, the world has ever seen.
No there's something to talk about.

Enjoyed the podcast and the lads gave Eddie a tougher time than he is used to. This has led to me subscribing to other podcasts and I just listened to one with Kuggan and I am now curious on his role. What does he see his position as to me people talk about him as if he is a journalist (he isn't at all), a member of the media (not IMO), an interviewer (possibly) but they want to know why he does not ask the right questions, push Hearn etc and it made me look again.
Is IFL TV just a PR company really? Giving coverage and inside scoops on boxing? Not a bad thing but basically just press releases via a video camera rather than subjective members of the media.

Eddie said this ppv is in the ''mid to lower end'' of all time sky ppv's which basically says to me he knows he's being a cheeky bastard putting this on ppv but he's going to try his luck anyway.
I was dissapointed to hear him say the early sales had been promising but then he would say that wouldn't he.

Finally got around to listening to the whole interview. Fair play to Eddie for his honesty, didn't expect him to be so candid in his answers.
He's also a smooth SOB - I'll have to delete it from my media device before I end up listening to it again & get convinced into buying the PPV!
Also interesting to hear him talk about the upcoming Macklin fight - he didn't sound at all confident of a Macklin victory. If I'd had listened to the interview before yesterday, I'd have bet a wedge on Heiland.

Ok so now have listened to a couple older ones, 96-99 podcasts and one of the guys on there keeps belching, loudly on the audio and it is seriously pissing me off tbh. Elephant man you are are recording again tonight I believe, please ask him to stop as it is fcuking annoying, disgusting and if it keeps happening I am one listener who will turn off. It is vile.
Your content is good enough if some of it is factually incorrect with a few little mistakes but thats what you'd expect from guys chatting for a couple hours. Only silly little things like someone was on about Bruno v Tyson I and remembers watching it on ITV when it was actually on BBC. Clue there was Harry Carpenter famously giving it the "Go on Frank, get in there!" and of course, Harry was BBC and Reg was ITV with Jim Watt back then. Like I say, not an issue and only little things and when talking about an old fight and getting the round wrong but it is pub chatter so all cool, I am sure i recall some things wrong myself
Keep up the good work (without that belching please, will give them one more go tonight)

That will be the host Andy, for some reason he think it's hilarious as an adult to burp and fart on air, unnecessary for me I still tune in but I can see how that puts people off.
