The conversation went as follows.
Bellew come on talk sport and then the presenter was talking and said bunce is here and bellew said I don't want to speak to him, then bellew went on to say u know what u said and I don't want nothing to do with u, I wont be answering none of your questions.
It stems back from when bunce said something on his show about bellew and also a pundit said bunce was saying remarks about bellew,
Bunce after the show finished said he managed to talk to bellew about this incident during the break and another boxer pulled buncy over the exact same thing, but buncy said it wasn't him who was speaking to the reporter
That's it in a nut shell

I'll be honest, I'm still none the wiser.
What did Buncey allegedly say?

For a professional fighter, Bellew seems very sensitive. Is there anyone in the trade who hasn't managed to upset him in some way?

His under pressure and cracking up, if he looses to clev again he won't know where to go

Boomer certainly seems to be burning bridges - he has been very vocal about certain promoters, trainers, boxers and now journalists.
This has been ok so far and has not really worked against him .... yet ..... however, if he loses again to Cleverley then where does he go / what does he do ?
There will be fewer people willing to do him a favour of to give him a helping hand.

Hes always Got Coldwell to fall back on
christ hell squash him if that happens
Maybe another defeat to clev will humble him but i sense it wont , its not like hes a very young fighter either so the older he is and acts like that the more riddiculas he looks , seems to demand praise and be the main voice while claiming beind the scenes hes a really nice family bloke who tucks his kids in everynight and takes them to school and loves his nan.
of course if hes in an epic fight with clev and wins then some more respect will be deserved
anything less then nothing due

His mouth seems to be doing a decent job of glossing over the fact he's headlining a shite PPV...

An epic fight?? You must be paying for the PPV and have high hopes? I see nothing but another snoozefest.

I think u would be the only person on the Planet who thought the first fights was a snooze fest. It was a great fight fought toe to toe and one judge had it a draw. What more do u look for in a fight????

It was a fantastic fight. I know people are down about the PPV but this rematch has been on my wishlist since the final bell of part 1. I scored it a draw.
These guys are excellent fighters who lost to probably the 2 most inform P4P fighters in world boxing.
I wish them both all the best.

The entire interview. What an absolute clown this guy is. Reeks of jealousy for anyone who's done anything with their life.

No mate im out that night and quite glad i dont need to buy it
im not saying it will be an epic fight , im saying he needs that for a bit of respect to be granted from me , but then i think we need the fight to be a snoozefest and hinder future undeserved pay per views.

What did Bunce say after the Stevenson fight that's upset him so much?
Something about Bellew giving it the big un and spouting off about how he's willing to die in the ring etc then turning a meek performance, running away for several rounds and barely throwing a punch then getting hammered into submission, i assume?
"I'm the one taking punches, getting up from knockdowns, fighting with cuts blah blah"
This sense of entitlement that some boxers have (Paul Smith springs to mind) really grates with me; yes they put their lives on the line, yes it's a tough game to be involved with, but it's their choice, and since when does choosing a tough profession mean you're completely absolved of responsibility or criticism when you don't perform your job very well??
Especially considering the fact that it's the fans buying tickets/watching who are allowing them to do that as a job in the first place.
I sort of had a similar feeling when i was boxing regularly as an amateur - i almost thought i was 'special' and entitled to instant respect because i chose to do the toughest sport of all, it took me a couple of years of stepping away after competing to get some perspective, i wasn't special or worthy of praise from everyone because i chose to get punched in the face, i wasn't living by some warrior code, no-one else gives a sh*t, it's a sport, get on with it.
I used to quite like Bellew, but his incessant talking has really put me off him, i just get the impression he's a bit thick now to be honest - even in that interview it's clear he's not as humble as he makes out, his answers to the questions didn't even make sense, he just reeled off tired clichés about his kids, punching power and the frankly bizarre metaphor about the Gucci coat.
It's pretty clear he doesn't even have a legitimate reason to hate Cleverly, which makes him come across as an even bigger daft, thick bully with his head up his ar*e

Interesting, and I agree.
I remember doing road work running past houses thinking "look at them lazy pricks and I am out here doing roadwork" as if it is something special.
The reality was that those inside their houses were watching Corrie having a nice cup of tea, looking out of their window thinking "look at the state of that prick jogging in the rain, maybe he is a fat mental patient ?"
