After getting KO'd by Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny took on Brandon Rios who Team Pacquiao knew was no real threat. Then the rematch with Bradley who might give him some problems but again was no threat to KO Manny. Now Team Pacquiao has Manny facing Chris Algieri who again might give Manny some problems but will be NO THREAT whatsoever of KO'ing Manny. It appears that they are worried about a repeat of what happened in his last fight with Marquez which is why they are taking on a guy with a very low KO %.

So what ? all the guys you mention are all good fighters, besides how can you begrudge him a gimme (although algieri coming off pretty good win) after all the top level guys he's fought.

Somebody should've told you that you are so barking up the wrong tree on this forum coming at Manny Pacquiao, there are two other fighters you can't say anything bad about on this forum besides him that 99.9% of the people will jump all over you for:

You can talk all the crap in the world about Floyd, Hopkins and Berto but heaven forbids you to speak the truth about Manny in that fashion, sure he took on a smaller fighter (and yet another one in Algieri) but they aren't the type of punchers that could put a hole in his face like Marquez did but to his credit he did rematch the feather-fisted but skilled Bradley (who was at or near the top of almost everyone's P4P List at the time) and win it fair and square.

I'll reserve my judgment until after the CA fight and see who he selects next, if he doesn't get Floyd then it should definitely be one of the top dogs like Thurman, Khan, or Porter. He may as well forget Marquez for the moment.

Manny always says he wants to fight Floyd before one of his fights. Talk is cheap. He had the best chance last year - but blew it by re-signing with Arum. He could have done the fight with Floyd then re-signed. By doing that he knew it would kill the fight.

By the way, almost all of Manny's recent opponents are small fighters. Bradley was a 140 lber, Rios, Algieri, and so was JMM. Him staying away from guys bigger than him is no accident.

I believe Bradley and Algeri both opened up their careers at Welter.

According to BoxRec, Chris Algieri is only 5' 10" and fighters that Mayweather has fought relatively recently that were of a comparable height, but probably much heavier, would be Victor Ortiz (5' 9" & 164lbs), Shane Mosley (5' 8½") and Canelo Alvarez (5'9" & 165lbs).

Tim Bradley is half an inch shorter than Manny, with Pacquiao campaigning (pretty much) as a full-time welterweight three years before 'Desert Storm' did.

Because boxrec is the most accurate when it comes to heights. They still list Pacquiao as 5'6 1/2 and Mayweather as 5'8.

Alegeri is clearly over 5'9. Just look at the pictures between him and Pacquiao and judge.

Mosley and Ortiz seemed to be the same height as Floyd. And Canelo was shorter. So what are you talking about? Floyd hasn't fought anyone tall as Algeri since Ndou.

If boxrec is true then how is Canelo 5'9 1/2 when he clearly wasn't taller than Mayweather?

B/S Rios can hurt anyone,he is also the much bigger man as is Algeri.

There is alot of little laughing faces in your post, i presume you laugh while you type because what you say can't be taken seriously.

Bradley is much bigger than Pacquiao, he faced Ward in the amateurs. He was a welterweight in the am's too where the limit is 152lb, not to mention he had maxxed out the 147 division vs Abregu, meaning when he fought Pacquiao he had registered heavier weigh-ins than Pac ever had.

Bradley & Rios are big Welterweights. Algeiri is pretty big guy too with a lot of frame to work with.

Bradley is much bigger than Pacquiao.
