Dirrell ... UD 8-4.

GGG said himself he hates to fight guys that have a boxing style like Dirrell. I do think that is why they didn't take Lara up on his call-out. GGG would look bad in spots, but he is so good at cutting off the ring I can't see him losing to Dirrell.

Didn't they split (each won one) in the amateurs? I have not seen Dirrell fight for so long I'm not sure he can even be considered relevant? I would rather see him vs Ward, but think Ward and GGG both beat Dirrell in close fights.

Golovkin had a wide win in Olympics with neutral judges. Dirrell won one point in a team match on U.S. soil with American judges when the U.S. team was losing after lower weights bouts ...

If Golovkin beat Dirrell in Olympics with big uncomfortable gloves and headgear, I can't see him having problems now.

Shouldn't Anthony be getting more attention since he is a world champion right now? Andre hasn't been real relevant in awhile, even if he is still a bad ass. I think both brothers give GGG a tougher fight than anyone has so far.

I hate this fantasy match ups, fighters are in a different weight classes, it is not happening in a foreseeable future.

The fight that was given to GGG I thought Dirrell won.

I never said it was a gift, as in deliberate robbery, it could have been a bad scoring. 5 point is noting much in amateur scoring. On the other hand, amateur boxing always was political and corrupt and Kazakh boxing has plenty of money and influence in that world.

BTW I am glad I made you laugh but that makes it clear you have not seen the fight.

I saw that fight at least 3 times. You need to turn the sound off to score it better.

Andre didn't look impressive in his last fight despite the KO. He gets hit way too much and has that uneasiness like everything is just moments away from unraveling. Let's be honest - Dirrell has the talent, but doesn't have the mental toughness to hang with GGG today.

You mean the same call-out where Lara's trainer/manager said they'd only fight him on Showtime while GGG is locked into an HBO contract?

Dirrell would soil himself dry and have to pull out of the fight from dehydration after the first press conference.

Damn, you win a close but clear decision over Carl Froch. Then you follow it up by beating the then undefeated Arthur Abraham, who was looking like a straight monster up to that point ... and everyone loses respect for your mental toughness because your opponent was a sore loser.

I think Dirrell/GGG would be a 50/50 fight. We have to consider the fact that Dirrell has fought strong 168 pound fighters before. He'd also have a good speed advantage. Ward's in promotional hell right now. I wish Froch would fight Dirrell again, so he could lose and we can start thinking about a fight that probably could be made.

Dirrell could've beaten Froch on paper but he fought scared, despite clearly having the talent advantage. Also he was fading before the Abraham sucker punch. He's got some mental demons that most likely aren't going to be ironed out at this stage.

Of course they would. They're both bigger AND better than anyone GGG has fought...by a mile.
