I got a chance to watch it and my opinion has changed. You Aussie MF'rs are some con artist poo heads not reporting what really happened in this fight. Good first round by Welliver. He started real good against Odlanier Solis around this weight as well. Good round 2 out of Browne. He landed some flush shots that didn't seem as big as they were because of Welliver's sturdiness. Good round 3 but Browne took it. Welliver is very game and in it, but the extra weight has slowed him down in both hands and feet. It's a good contest but could be an even better contest if Welliver came in lighter.

At 11:45 you can hear Browne's corner saying in that last round they say you head butted him???? If that eye was a head butt then it is a no contest at this point. 3 rounds in busted eye socket from head butt. They let him go on from there. If that was a butt and a serious injury it should have got stopped right here. The damn eye just swells from there when they both butted and the eye was an accidental foul. He wasn't busted up by punches.

Australian Robbery! Welliver deserves a rematch. The whole 4th round it is balooning and not from the punching. Welliver is still in it and giving it his all but that eye was busted in the 3rd. He would have stayed in there all night. This is a travesty. Welliver did not get his day in court. There were still witnesses set to testify. His eye is closed entirely from a butt before the 4th round even ends. No f'n contest!

Welliver broke Browne's hands up and did the only legit damage in the fight to Lucas hands.

2 guys clashed heads and Welliver got the worst of it by miles and miles. Browne took a small cut and Welliver took a fractured eye socket. The ref and doctor blew it. They picked on the guy with the announcers too when they should have showed the head butt, called it how it is, and talked up what a giant heart a man has to keep fighting through that while the officials drop the damn ball and stooge Browne to a win.

Australia is on notice! You aint got a puncher in the house that can move Welliver. Line em up and make sure Browne is in front for the rematch. Next time it won't be his hands...Chauncy will break his arms and legs as well. And I'm flying in to keep an eye on the rest of the clowns. Kronkpride vs every joke in the place who tries cheating us again! This Is War!

The video footage is clear.....eyes caused by head butt stated by even Brown's corner between rounds 3 and 4......no f'n contest! Period.

Then after you blow it in the break the entire eye of Welliver is totally closed by 2 minutes into the 4th round....ballooning like a Rahman head bump. The ref had at least 5 points to stop and bring in the doctor....but he was house fighter so they did not. If Browne got the worst of that butt they call in that doctor and take Chauncy's win. That is not fair. And you people know damn well I speak the truth. If Browne was the closed eye it would have went different. What I got from that fight video was that the many right hands that Browne landed caused the eye to close, I also believe the flat footed Browne wouldn't win a round against the fast hands and youth of Joseph Parker. Are they going to make him defend his Commonwealth belt against a credible opponent or drag in another obscure Canadian? Actually he'll probably vacate.

The corner of Browne says it all at 11:45 of the fight video.....head f'n butt. Welliver's eye closes entirely within 3 minutes and before round 4 is close to over. Let Those Who Have Ears Hear! Welliver was brutally butted and blinded.....still they could not rob the blind man completely. Total tee off on the blind man time for about 5 minutes.......not a damn single stagger out of the blind man. Can't even see the punches coming and still brushes off every big blow. The worst thing about it is that fight fans from Australia on this site who saw it all reported the whole thing as inaccurately as it was officiated. Total homer bias victor writes history false story. The tapes are clear and either Australia has a conspiracy going or it has no fans at all intelligent enough to see it how it is and call it how it is. You are so very wrong. The only clown there last night was Welliver. The only one who "blew it" was Welliver. The only one to drop the ball was Welliver (probably out front of the pie shop, TBH). The only stooge in that fight was Welliver. Welliver got his head punched in, yes, your Idol got his head punched in, by a guy nearly half his size with a third of his experience

I'm just thankful the referee stopped it before Browne killed him. Hope Welliver has the good sense to hang the gloves up.

It seems posters on here think it was a good performance from Browne. If Wellivers eye hadn't closed I couldnt see how else he was going to stop big Chauncey. It was heading for a lackluster points shutout for big daddy.

Browne looked ordinary at best, plodding and flat footed against an opponent who stood in front of him ready to be hit. When Browne moves up a level he will be outclassed.
