I never had a problem with him.
Typical reaction is to always blame the worker in the US. So, we blame the fighters for inactivity when many of them are in situations in which they simply can't get fights. Then, if they seriously bitch about it, their promoters put them on the shelf, and these guys struggle/accumulate debt until the promoter throws them a bone.
Gamboa has been Gamboa because the way boxing is run. Hopefully, he can get a couple good fights at 130 next year.
