I am intrigued by this light welter contest. The guy in the red trunks looks good. But so does the other guy in red trunks.

*sigh* I need to start going out on Saturday nights.

Yeah, I saw a couple of minutes of that as I was putting the fight on.

Looked like somebody had hired out a back room in a pub.

I watch a lot of the snooker on Eurosport.

Sadly, it's probably the non free view channel I watch the most.

Me too on the last card i watched they had ritchie woodhall and some other fella, ritchie was commentating on all the technical and sensible stuff and the other guy was just talking daftness about the name hammer and telling you about the groin protector but i thought it was really entertaining. Especially for a boring fight it made it watchable. It was commentary for the complete layman and the hardcore boxing fan at the same time.

Steve Holdsworth is comedic-commentary gold, his comments on the Chagaev Vs Sedreck Fields fight will long live on

Anyone fancy Pulev to give it a good go?
I fear the typical VK masterclass

Sorry about the blank posts. My tablet is arsing me about.

I was telling a story about Steve Holdsworth who in a fight in January spent a round and a half thanking everybody who'd got him a Christmas card.

Damndest thing I ever saw. He didn't mention anything to do with the boxing. Not a single thing. He did mention the name of every single person who got him a card for Christmas.

Hilarious.

You never know. He's probably got as good a chance as any heavyweight.

Unlikely. But we can live in hope.
