What a stiff. Literally. Could the guy stand up any straighter or keep his chin up in the air anymore than he does? How could Wlad miss? The div. is a disgrace to what HW boxing used to be. Just another crap win for Wlad as people continue to believe he is one of the greatest HW's of all time. He's not. He's just competing in an era where fighters literally have minimal boxing skills. Wlad would've gotten wrecked and been knocked out multiple times had he come up in the 90's. And if you don't believe that, then you really don't know your boxing.

I'd like to know who would have knocked Wlad out multiple times based on current form!

Pulev fought stupidly, yes... but this isnt a condemnation on Klitschko... its an indictment on Pulev.

After watching that fight the first thought was, "How the hell did Tony Thompson lose to this guy?", but had to think also that Thompson was an older, slower man. Do I think Pulev was hyped? Yes. Do I believe he was over-rated going into this contest? Yes. But I'd be a liar, to say, I didn't buy into the hype myself--- I predicted this conest would go the full route. Instead, Pulev fought like this and got kayoed.

Not Klitschko's fault his opponent got scared or that his opponent's team came up with a rather bizarre strategy to use in the fight. Klitschko looked phenomenal tonight--- he could of beaten Pulev and Briggs, and had enough to decision Stiverne, all in one night.

Losing to Wlad dosen't make anyone garbage.

Like many safety first, cerebral fighters, Wlad makes a lot of fighters look bad. Worse than they are. At least Pulev tried hard to win.

He beat Thompson because he's better than Tony. Pulev is a smart fighter who usually starts slow and dominates towards the finish, by design. He had to try the opposite against Wlad, had some success but ultimately paid for it as Wlad was in top form.

Please show me footage of anyone looking good against Wlad recently. You want to use that as some sort of measuring stick? Break out the footage.

Glad you said that. The only one from your 5 who could do it was obviously Lewis. The rest never had the skills that Wlad has right now. His jab is better, his footwork is better, he is more agile and he is better than you think....

You can't have it both ways... You can't hold Pulev up as being this and that, when he fought like he did... and you cant in the same breathe say Klitschko is just that dominate... so which is it? Klitschko is either just that damn good and despite Pulev looking like a fool, had the best performance he had in years---- or it was Pulev's own damn fault, for tossing aside what worked for him for so many fights, and opted to fight like an idiot out there?

Bowe and Lewis had the best chance... much as I love Evander, he was just too small.

Same with Ruddock and Mercer.

People keep pointing out how Wlad only looks good because of how weak the division is today. Its only half true. Wlad does shine against mediocre opposition...However, looking at his 63 wins, its more and more evident that even great fighters of the past eras would have struggled or likely been KO'd against Wlad.
Holyfield imo would have been utterly crushed. Lewis, well, I'm not even that sure anymore, Wlad does look the best against other tall fighters and Lewis's chin isn't the best either...Actually having been trained by the same man, Lewis and Wlad are very similar.
Wlad would have made most of the all time greats look bad.
