Just been casually watching sky sports news and before I could turn it off before they started flogging this massive fight on saturday the presenter said it was for the WBO Light heavyweight title, I didnt know kovalev had just vacated it for them lol.

They was probably talking about the first fight which was for cleverlys who light heavy title at the time

Maybe wrong but im sure she said on saturday for the wbo title. Wether she ment cruiserweight, but im sure she labelled the fight on saturday as a wbo title fight.

Eddie was trying to sell it as an eliminator but I don't think that's been approved.

Did Bellew not pick up the WBO intercontinetal title for the Brudov fight that could be on the line maybe??

I just thought straight away ohhh here we go again sky trying to con the general public labelling it as a title fight. As the previous commenter said it could of been talking about the previous fight which was for the wbo title light heavyweight title, so I could be spouting rubbish lol. Yeah bellew does have a wbo belt, so it wouldnt surprise me there labelling it as a wbo world title fight.

In all seriousness its probably just the Sky presenter being thick, most the Sky Boxing team know fornicate all about boxing so the normal Sky Sports News people have no hope!

In the Sunday papers TV guides it said it was for the vacant WBA/WBO Cruiserweight title, I wonder who told them that ?

Its a top notch domestic fight . . . . . . End of.
