No. It seems like he ended his boxing career.

Mitchell wasn't as bad as many people were saying. He's a hard puncher who would have been in entertaining fights. I thought the stoppage against Arreola was somewhat premature - he had his wits and wanted to continue, he didn't look badly hurt. The Banks TKO was a fair stoppage though.

He's better than many who continued fighting after a couple of losses, and he could have been a strong gatekeeper who would only lose to the top 25 or so HWS.

I believe he has a college degree and some intelligence.

For a College football player, he did pretty well and figured he wasn't going to be heavyweight champion and called it a day.

Exactly. To me he always seemed like an opportunist in boxing not unlike Mike Grant back in the day. Seth had his NFL dream destroyed so tried to make a HW boxing dream & that got destroyed too. Now he'll go into some other less physical career & this mfer will be successful at that or something else cuz the guy obviously gots some skills he's just coming up short in some longshot situations. That said I wouldn't be shocked to see him pop up for a fight or two if he can get some nice money just so he can get Plan C setup or started, but I kinda suspect we've seen the last of him.

I think he did very good against Banks, until he got catched. Sadly, Mitchell doesn't have a chin... but he's got some serious power. Arreola said, he was surprised how hard he hit & sure was glad he got him out that fast, after the fight.

I would like to see him again, not against the Top-20, but some good people with limited power, like Cunningham or Scott. But Banks on the other hand, doesn't hit very hard. (Tony Harrison said, he hits like the middleweight, Gennady Golovkin)
