There is another way of looking at it and that is: It's easier to talk crap in the ring without "him" being in it with you-----especially when you reject two highly legit offers (one of which included a 50-50 deal) and the other that offered him 40 million plus 35% of the PPV revenues.

Indeed, seen an interview with Roach this morning. He thinks Mayweather's legs are gone and wouldn't even be competitive with Pacquiao. Also dismissed Khan as a viable option, as Pacquiao regularly dropped him in sparring. Looking at Garcia @ 140 as a potential option.

Honestly who cares what a damn near paraplegic Freddie Roach thinks? He has said that Floyd's legs were gone so many times only to have Mayweather show in 2 or 3 fights that he was proven wrong, and furthermore if Roach is so sure of this then why not have his boy Manny sign the damn contract and stop making commercials pretending he wants to fight Floyd.

1. Its Marquez, he's a HOF. It was the 4th fight, law of averages states it was bound to happen, and both equally as likely to happen to either man.

2. Marquez has virtually same knockout percentage as Pacquiao, if not close to the same.

3. Mayweather IS in decline. Unless you think he's some sort of super human.

4. Freddie Roach had a rough child hood. He's brother was a neo nazi in prison. He's a product of his environment. So what if he's a dick? At least he's not beating up women and terrorizing children....you know, like FLOYD.

Pac's KO loss to JMM was 2 years ago & he has since changed his style & looked sharp in his last 2 bouts since then. Floyd on the other hand has clearly looked faded twice in the last 6 months.

Two years ago, Floyd would have dominated Marcos Maidana, but the fact he struggled with him twice this year shows that Floyd is clearly the one who has lost a step.

Whatever you want to believe. The first fight was ridiculous as far as the fouling that was allowed, but Floyd still won a clear decision. The second was not that close. Losing 3 or 4 rounds in a fight isn't struggling to win. Maidana didn't even win that many in the second fight.

What Floyd has lost in quickness is made up by his superior mind, defense, accuracy, footwork, and over-all ring generalship, and is always in fantastic shape. I think it is accurate to say both have lost a step. Pac looking good against Algieri is actually a good thing money-wise if they do fight.
