A prime Frazier with Ali's style and a prime Foreman with a Larry Holmes style who would win? Remember it's at the very peak of their abilities nothing else.

Yes. but what would happen if Frazier adopted alli's style and Big bad George Foreman adopted Holmes style of fighting who would win?abdelfadeeli wrote:Frazier weighed 10 pounds heavier in the Foreman fight than he did in his win over Ali.
After winning the Fight Of The Century, Frazier felt like he was God and started partying and eating, and stopped training seriously. Foreman was probably sent to him by God to teach him a lesson.
Prime for prime, Frazier would have made it an inside fight, and Foreman would have been basically helpless. Foreman was always limited in terms of boxing skill. All he really had in his early days was power from long range.

I think Frazier wins mainly because I think Prime Ali beats Holmes. Lost in their one-sided beatdown is the fact that, when Ali was dancing, Holmes had no answer. He just hopelessly followed Ali and waited for Alito stop dancing to unload on him.Rexob wrote:Yes. but what would happen if Frazier adopted alli's style and Big bad George Foreman adopted Holmes style of fighting who would win?abdelfadeeli wrote:Frazier weighed 10 pounds heavier in the Foreman fight than he did in his win over Ali.

Of course, Giancarlo comes into an argument that had NOTHING to do with him. From looking at past posts you seem to have a habit of doing this. Don't you think that's getting old? Don't you ever get tired of pulling the same shit over, and over, and, over again?Giancarlo wrote:abdelfadeeli wrote:Frazier weighed 10 pounds heavier in the Foreman fight than he did in his win over Ali.

Might be time to merge all this fellow's posts under a single heading of "Please help me; I think I have a Joe Frazier fetish"
