tyson won because of the knockdown

Tillis was good but Tyson was better.

He won this fight.

? Tyson won and is better easy!

I never realised there was controversy about this decision.

It might not have been a landslide, but Tyson clearly won & he is vastly superior to Tillis.

What is relevant here?

It was competitive.


Some Tyson fans just can't fathom such a thing. As this was when he was at his best.

It should have been the ol' "one punch and done" scenario....right?

The addition "who was better" was actually unnecessary. It meant who was better in that single fighti dident mean who was better in general.

Yeah, but Tillis was hoping you didn't see the fight.

I recall it as being dominated by Tyson, complete with an early knockdown.
Tillis came back in the late rounds but in no way came close to copping the decision.
Probably 7-3 Tyson, with the knockdown thrown in for good measure.

..when the weights were announced i thought tyson was a little too fine and tillis, for once was in good shape. at that time tyson was a man killer but though i thought tyson would win i thought tillis had a good chance of going the distance and making a respectable showing, which he did.he got up from a knockdown, and showed a willingness to continue. one major thing the fight showed was tyson's inability to fight inside. when tills tied him up tyson just stood there, hands down, until the ref broke them. tyson was still green and later, of course, he became a good infighter.

i think this was the learning experience for tyson. he was in with guy, who, when motivated and not scared showed him some good boxing lessons in a few rounds.

Stupid. It was a clear win for Tyson against a guy who ran.

Klompton's faith was lacking I see.

Tillis may not have been in full retreat but he wasnt trying to win either. He was trying to steal a round here and there.
