No. Floyd getting a 100 million is not worth it because he is risking his undefeated record. He'll probably fight 3 easier fights to cover the costs of ducking Pacquiao for the final time.
Remember, Floyd's legacy hinges on that record. If he doesnt have that "zero" then he stops being "TBE"

Who cares about undefeated records? His legacy is only slightly enhanced by being undefeated.
Ducking Manny will damage his legacy more than losing.

"ESPN's Stephen A. Smith says Mayweather offered Bob Arum $10 million to not be involved in the fight"
"Could Arum be paid to leave the negotiations? Possibly. It'd have to be a lot more than $10 million, probably, but there might be a figure that suits him."

If it does happen I just hope the date for it is not too close to a Cotto/Alvarez fight.
I know that fight isn't signed either but I have more confidence in that one happening than Pac/Floyd.
If Cotto/Alvarez happens it will be probably be scheduled for May or June. I intend on buying that fight regardless of the date but I don't do ppv's in consecutive months or two in one month. I want to see both but if I have to choose it will be Cotto/Alvarez.

Both men dont deserve the payday this fight brings,1 of them might be more to blame than the other,im no sure but if both men really wanted this fight to happen it would have happened 5 years ago when the fans demanded it
It should have been this generation's Ali/Frazier/Foreman or Leonard/Hagler/Hearns/Duran etc
Best fighting the best, fvck me thats a rarity these days,we almost feel thankful when it happens when it should be the norm

I wouldn't worry too much.
If Pac-Mayweather became a reality for May or June, then Cotto/Alvarez would probably be shelved for late summer or early fall.
They wouldn't want to cross swords and challenge the much greater interest in the Fight of the Century. It would harm the PPV take big time.

Chili is not chili without Tabasco, Original Red Sauce, the hot, legendary pepper sauce.
Incontestable fact unless health problems and mental problems don't allow spicy food to agree with you.
You are the lamb and Tabasco, Original Red Sauce, the hot, legendary pepper sauce is your daddy.

It won't happen, if it were going to have it would have when the demand was really high.
I think it'd still be a really good bout though both seem to have lost their edge.
If it did happen it'd be Mayweather points - too big and slick.

Not sure how true/realistic this is, but there is allegedly a huge offer for the fight:

I genuinely don't care.
Should have happened 3/4 years ago. For me, it's virtually pointless now. Neither are in their prime, Pac has fallen substantially. 4 years ago it would have been amazing to see, now it's just old hat. I don't think it will ever happen, and if it does, it's past being all that relevant.

Relevant in terms of what? Which fights would be bigger?
The bout is still discussed very frequently, it would probably do incredible PPV numbers, and whether they've slowed or not Mayweather and Pac are still among the P4P elite and each could add to their legacy with a win. I get that there was a better time for it, but I don't see how it's past being all that relevant.

I said no, but thinking about it, I can see them fighting when both are really old to try & cash-in for one last hurrah.

Same. The fact no legit opponent is being rumoured for either of them is pointing towards them both getting serious about the mega-cash out. The big question i guess is Mayweather willing to eat humble pie and let Arum promote this event for $100m+? With some gambling losses, paying tax & handing money over to his ex's for his kids... who knows. All these boxers seem to follow the same path.

Sorry, but as much as it would please you, Floyd isn't in a desperate need for money like Pac is.

There are no indications that Floyd is hurting for money.Where as Pacquiao is known to owe millions
upon millions in taxes.Ricky you are a real ass-hat

Your love of Floyd Mayweather extends to defending speculation over his finances in an online forum. I commend you're loyalty. Lemme guess, you think his ex-wife desevred a beating too eh?

No, but if you ever get one, I am quite sure it will be well deserved.

Mayweather might not need money, but he likes money: he's not called 'Money' for nothing.
