If Montgomery is to pass on the title shot, I guess Barney Ross would be the backup. Everyone seems to have a fight lined up, assuming Whitaker takes his title challenge.

Whitaker will allow Montgomery to face Benny, Then Pernell will collect the WBO belt from Bob next week.
