Having 3.5m in the bank is quite different from being worth 3.5m.

Talk to any 5-star hotel worker about very rich people they've received tips from. They're very often more tight with their money than the rest of us.

You'll find a lot of the poorest are some of the most charitable as well.

I worked in casinos for years and supervised tables where blokes are playing 2 hands of blackjack with $50k on each hand. Also sat on craps games with over a million on the table.

Big money certainly didn't mean big tips for the dealers.

Disagree with most things on here ! Take it from someone who picks up all sorts of people with all levels of money. There's rich tightness and there's tight because there being careful because they don't have much ! When someone asks a price for a 3 mile journey in the first place there not worth £3.5M.
