Anyone ever heard about Korean Soo Hwan Hong, mentioned as bantamweight WBA champ in 1970's?
If there is such name, what's the correct spelling of this boxer? Korean, Chinese and Thai names are always problems to search in Boxrec.com

In general, since the Korean language uses different characters, names are spelled phonetically when translated, resulting in different spellings. In this case Soo Hwan Hong is listed as Soo Hwan Hong, so I don't see a problem.

Yes, you are correct. But you see there's no problem with Japanese.
Anyway, I've found soo-hwan hong former bantam and super bantamweight wba champ in boxrec.com
Best regards,
Jeffrey
