Gradovich v Velez who won?

Hbo crew have been nothing but cheerleaders the last few yrs I thought the fight was really close but they would only notice the glancing shots from Evgeny yet ignore the hard flush shots of Velez.
What do you guys think?

Gradovich won quite clearly.

117-111 Gradovich
I thought Gradovich won clearly and I watched without sound. Velez started well, but he increasingly began to trade after the third and I thought his punches significantly lost their snap as the bout unfolded while Gradovich's didn't. I thought Gradovich bossed the majority of rounds, landed more, and landed the better shots. Velez fought hard but I think he was very fortunate to leave the ring without a loss.

No doubt Evgeny looked the stronger fighter in the mid and later RDs but I thought alotta of shots were glancing shots while Velez landed the crisper cleaner shots.
Also his bodywork was I believe given more credit by that judge than the hbo crew.
Not saying I thought velez won convincingly but I also don't think it was a clear dominant win for gradovich either.

I thought Gradovich was landing more cleanly from the third on. He also rattled Velez's head with several shots but I didn't notice Velez do the same, at least to the same extent, which I think had to due with him tiring and losing the snap on his punches more than Gradovich.

Mex Russian. Velez got beaten up. Only way to win in America is by KO.

Gradovich clearly. The closest I could make it was 7-5 to Gradovich (giving him the 4th and 12th) though that would be generous. 9-3 Gradovich.

117-111 for Gradocich. Best I could see is 116-112.

Gradovich won wide. Scorecards were a treachery.

Gradovich. But he has no chance against Lomachenko or Walters

I thought Velez started well, being up 4-1 early by easily out-boxing Gradovich. After the 4th Gradovich took over. I wouldn't call it an overly dominant win but he definitely won, probably 8-4. Robert Garcia thought they won every round but that was far from the case. Credit to Velez for being game. Some judges prefer boxers, some punchers I guess.

A clear win for Gradovich, at least 116-112. The judges gifted a draw to a Puerto Rican, so if Evgeny's opponent was an American, he would have gotten a win, the same way as Algieri got it against Provo. What a disgrace

Seemed a pretty clear decision for Gradovich for me as well. Can't see him doing well against Lomachenko, Walters or even Donaire or Mares, but I think he could give a real fight to Jhonny Gonzales at least. The proposed Lee Selby fight is an intriguing clash of styles.

Lomachenko and Walters will easilly handle Gradovich (in different manner), but I am not sure about the rest. He could beat Donaire, Mares and Gonzalez.
In any case, even if he wasn't a top 10 fighter, it should not matter when determining an outcome of this particular fight.

I had it same as first judge,117-111 Grodovich but it was nip and tuck all the way and a lot of the rounds were tough as eff to score,Velez was brave as hell and gave as good as he got,i just thought Evgeny was landing the more hurtful punches

He was landing more punches, more power punches and was an aggressor. How the hell could one score a win for Velez ?

118-110 Gradovich, closest I could see it is 116-112 for the Mexican-Russian. Velez was lucky two judges were blind.

They couldn't be THAT blind. Something much worse was going on.

Gradovich won, I had it 116-112. Maybe you could come up with a reasonable 114-114 card if you really tried but the card for Velez was absurd.
