How would you see Saddam Ali vs Errol Spence going or Thurman vs Spence? Actually for that matter any pairing of those guys.

I think Thurman would seek out a name bigger than either of these guys at this point in his career, whether they are really good or not. I think Thurman will continue to pursue Khan, Porter, Brook, Maidana - guys like that.

Fighters that are affiliated to Al Haymon or Showtime will fight each other.

Fighters that are affiliated to Top Rank or HBO will fight each other.

Al Haymon/Showtime fighters will never compete against HBO/Top Rank men.

Simple.

Understand these rules and check the rankings... and the 147lb match-ups are obvious!
Do you have to be a prick, seriously?

Isn't Brook/Marquez being planned for the Spring?

Marquez can't decide if he is retiring or not.

I can't see Hearn putting up the kind of money Marquez would want to travel. He'd probably be after a 7 figure purse and unless the fight's on PPV, I can't see the money being there to bring him over, unless Brook has suddenly developed drawing power we haven't seen from him yet.

I would think HBO or Showtime would pay top dollar for such a matchup though. It would probably do solid sales as a PPV in the UK as well.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not paying £17 for Kell Brook-Juan Manuel Marquez unless there's a very good undercard on. Even with US TV, they might still be struggling unless Marquez's demands are lower than I'd expect them to be. They might go for an easy first defence too after the stabbing.

Japanese power puncher Keita Obara is set to move to 147, Obara vs Kamegai would be instant fun.

Errol might be the most interesting up & coming guy to be watching right now. A lot of big name guys seem high up on him. I think we are a ways from seeing him in vs Keith, but I think we will be finding out more about him in late 2015 that'll better show us what he's capable of. 2016 will be his year if he's half as good as the cats hyping him right now & than maybe we'll get a Errol vs Keith kinda fight if Keith is running the show by that time which I'm not super confident about tbqh.
