Back in January I penned a career tribute to Wayne McCullough. I stand by it. Wayne McCullough will never fight again. He's now off the Audley bill next week.

I've said it before, I'm worried about such a classy and tough fighter like The Pocket Rocket continuing to fight into his mid 30's after so many hard fights.

He now says he hopes to be back in August.

Ok it's up to Wayne how he lives his life, but as we all know sometimes fighters are too brave for their own go.

Didn't I read somewhere that Wayne has become a correspondent for Ring magazine? Could be a new avenue for him and he's articulate enough.

I think he should stay out of the game - Jeez, he's had some wars.

Yes, he reports on fights in Las Vegas for the Ring. Think he covered one in the last edition.

He also writes for secondsout.com. he's a good writer too, he is a bit like Barry McGuigan actually, someone who was a real warrior in the ring, and surprisingly articulate and considered out of it.
