If he doesn't have the confidence to fight top 100 ranked opponents then he should just retire.

A real shame. Price is becoming increasingly irrelevant.

The tragedy is that his pro career once had real momentum.

I alway thought it was a bad move going with Sauerland,could manouvere him into a title shot but without much building

Shame was a nothing fight really but he needs to get himself active. Channel 5 pulling out? As the Hernandez vs Afolabi fight is off too.

I think he will have two fights next year and then look for an Autumn clash with Chisora, Fury or Joshua.

He will have a chance against all of them if he can land and if he doesnt he will have a good pay day before finding his level as a British/European level fighter.

Agreed - I didn't see Chisora the other night, but the other 2 would smash him to bits.

Chisora looked awful, but was quite probably well below 100%.

He needs to fight somebody recognisable soon otherwise he will be forgotten, if not forgotten already.

Why would Chisora want to fight him though? Is that a big money fight?

I think Price should have to earn a shot at someone like Chisora first. Beating any top 50 ranked fighter would be enough.

Both boxers have limited options - they might as well earn some dough fighting each other before Joshua beats them up and sends them into retirement.

I think people are being a bit harsh on Chisora, he was obviously far from 100% on Saturday but still gave it a good go.

I think as long as his punch resistance isnt gone, and I am not completely convinced it is what it was, then he is still better than European level I would say.

Smart matchmaking from Warren will either see him get another World title shot or get a couple of good paydays in Joshua, and Price, although I dont know how much money the latter fight does make, It would need to be built up and promoted right.

I just don't understand Price's matchmaking this year. Fighting guys who've lost almost as many fights as they've won. It's pretty pathetic stuff for a 31 year old who turned pro 6 years ago.

Chisora falls into the in between category - decent fighter but never going to win a world title.

So, who is going to bankroll him to get 4 or 5 wins against the right decent opposition? - there is no return in it.

Warren will and I think there is a return in it.

His career is going to waste. When he does get in the ring it's against irrelevant fighters who won't bring him on or move him up.

Perhaps they will just tick over with him and try to blag a shot against a big name and pray he lands his right hand?

He's still got decent money fights with top 25 guys like Joshua, Price, Stiverne, Wilder, Jennings. Arreola, Browne, Chambers and Thompson. Either as Main or Co-main fights.
Chisora can talk and talk English. That's a big plus in the HW division. Stick him against a Yank or Aussie and he can drum up some decent interest for fans looking for a slug fest i reckon.
Put him in with Harrison, Sprott or Skelton, on a FW London card, next to get him back in the win column and give his confidence a boost then work from there...

I'm a Chisora fan but he can't 'talk' at all. He can barely string a decent sentence together.

True. 3 poor fights since the Thompson losses. How many more does he need to "rebound" before he starts fighting decent opposition again!? Do they not realize that fighting poor opposition over and over is what had him unprepared for the Thompson double in the first place!?
