Dunno about the contractual position but it seemed crystal clear to me that Liam smith was far from happy with his fight last month against zoltan sera. Reading between the lines of his post fight interview he seemed to be fed up and viewed it as a complete waste of time. You just know Eddie would like to do a massive Liverpool show with all four brothers on there. In fact, put bellew on the bill too and hey presto another PPV card.

I heard that Liam Walsh/Gary Sykes nearly didn't happen because Liam was moving to Matchroom. Could be him.

It is Charlie Edwards the flyweight.

Liam Smith signed a new deal not long ago, can't see him getting outta it yet.

I know walsh contract is up, but would rule him out, watch interview with walsh brothers, there not too impressed with matchroom , slating PPV card and bugging up allegedly, I'm sure it's chsrlie edwards

Frankie Gavin's contract is up. He's often talked about wanting to headline a show in Birmingham. Better chance of that with Matchroom and the Yafais to bolster the ranks.

Could be a call that. Eddie has said he wants to put a show on in Birmingham in 2015. Yafai and Gavin double header would sell tickets

I'd say even chance to be fair Matchrooms got Yafais plus Eggington but Franks got Gavin, Costello, Langford.

Thats the sad thing (from my point of view as a midlander) most of the midlands based talent is spread across both main promoters quiet evenly. If they were all with one it would make a big Birmingham arena show more likely.

Hearn said he wanted to do one but that was before Macklin's loss. I can't see it now, who would headline?

He'd firstly announce that an announcement was being made....the announcement would be that hes holding a press conference....the press conference would be to announce hes signed a new phone deal

Could mean anything though to be fair but doesn't seem happy with his promoter/allegedly maybe
