Lemieux has been great against competition that is either C-D level, or that folds when they get hit once....against actual decent fighters he hasn't shown much at all. Rosado has a ton of heart and he's B level fighter I would say.

Not only do I like Rosado in this fight, I can't imagine him losing. Lemieux has not shown he can beat someone like Rosado at all

I smell a trap, like the books are just begging squares to take Rosado.

Cut stoppage is Lemiuex's path to victory. Gab will probably be bleeding all over the place by round 7. That's definitely Rosado's biggest worry. And a legit one at that. I would like him a lot more if not for that scar tissue.

I agree with everything that has been said above. Lemieux by cuts is a very likely option, but I think Rosado is the better, tougher boxer.

Better boxer? No. Tougher? Yes. Better chin? Yes. Better stamina? Yes.

But the cuts, man. The cuts. Major major factor. Lemiuex hits VERY hard and that face is paper mâché.

I think a lot of people are blinded by their support for Rosado. He and Lemieux are the same level fringe contenders. It's just hard to see Rosado losing 5 fights in a row, if you don't count BKB. What's there not to like about Rosado, he is a warrior who fights his heart out everytime just to fall short or get robbed. But we need to look at things objectively. I lean more towards Lemieux, he appears to be peaking whereas Rosado is on his back nine.

He got the scar tissue removed, don't know if that will reduce the chances of new cuts.

I have an odd feeling that Lemieux sparks him out. I know the evidence suggests Rosado has faced the better opponents, and is usually a tough out, while Lemiieux fades (Or used to) after 4 or 5 rounds. I guess it's just an odd feeling for me that Rosado gets Angulo'd again. HBO is trying to build up Lemieux, I imagine, and same with his team. They have enough tape of rasado to know what they are going into.

He's a rugged Philly fighter so you never want to count Rosado out, but he hasn't shown he can win at the upper level. To flat out say he's better than the Canadian, hasn't been demonstrated.
Maybe Lemieux falls short of elite, but he's got legit punching power, and you wonder if all those recent brutal fights will weaken Rosado's resistance.

The odds look reasonable to me. I think the two fighters are not that far apart in terms of skill, but I think Lemieux is better than Rosado by the same margin that the odds say.

Lemieux will win this. Angulo vs Rosado fight is a great example of how fight with Lemieux will go.

Rosado has come a long way since that fight in terms of experience and the addition of PED's into his regimen. He's a bigger, stronger guy now. He was basically a kid when he fought Angulo. I'm not saying Lemieux cant or wont win at all. I'd just make this more of a pick em fight.

DLR was coming on and appeared to be winning the 5th after taking the 3rd and 4th on my card, but he got nailed by that shot.

Rosado looks more nervous than he usually is. Bad sign. His stock drops in my opinion.

I think Lemieux knocks Rosado down in the 3rd & batters him but then gets tagged himself in the 4th.

Can definitely see it going into the 6th.

Rosado keeps losing rounds, and Lemieux doesn't seem to gas out ...
