Too chinny and an unnatural boxer. Not sure why Booth, with respect, would waste his time? Unless he's basically just bringing in a sparring partner for David Haye......

Booth is no longer with Haye is he?

Maybe he's brought Towers in so he can kidnap Haye and Groves and bring them back under his wing? :box:

personally I don't think he can, but id love to see Richard win a title, but that chin of his is questionable. I like Richard towers and I like adam booth (despite him blocking me on twitter :shame: because I don't rate andy lee......but I could be proved wrong)...and I hope he, if anyone, can get methodology into Richards technique, but you could argue that if the ingles cant do it then no one can!

From what I have seen of Towers I have been massively underwhelmed. He got some serious hometown reffing against some dodgy French bloke then got blasted out by a Basic slugger.

Towers is crap but unlike some more talented heavies may achieve something as he is dedicated to boxing and not eating. But the british heavy scene will benefit from him if he actually fights other domestic fighters. As I have said before the UK heavy scene could be great if promoters and fighters could organise some contest among the top ten (excluding Joshua and Fury who are on a different level)

ive heard that Richard has been excellent as a sparring partner, the Klitschkos rate him, Ive heard he has stood chisora on his head etc etc. I know sparring is sparring but im guessing that he possesses some serious ringcraft. maybe its a nervous thing that affects him on 'fight night'..

A bad chin more like! which isn't a bad thing, as it is quite entertaining too watch a 6.8 foot man wobble round the ring like a piss head when hit on the old crystal glass!
