HBO and Showtime were in a big battle..

HBO bent and Showtime appeared to pull ahead for a moment, but now it seems Showtime has almost collapsed , HBO has consolidated and is finishing the year out strong..

fornicate HBO. They try to act all sophisticated and dress up in suits while they've single-handedly lowered the boxing IQ of American boxing fans.
Their overt bias and the ridiculous rationale they've used to justify instances of that bias has crept into the mainstream boxing mentality of many fans. Lamely doesn't know shit about boxing, not the history of boxing, but rather how boxing actually works.
Kellerman has become such a sellout, far from the guy who basically called anyone who thought Floyd/DLH was close an idiot ... and did it in the face of HBO's cheerleaders as they were trying to sell a rematch, like fornicating WWE commentators.
Ward seems like he's trying to impress everyone with his kindness.
Jones Jr. doesn't really care about boxing anymore; he's a paycheck announcer. This guy sits next to the ring and gives an opinion that is contrary to his own career. How can Jones Jr. not favor and score fights for defensive fighters? He is basically saying that he wouldn't have scored fights for himself, which is a total lie.
Oh yeah, fornicate HBO.

Showtime has been putting on mostly bad mismatches, while HBO has been giving us some very good, entertaining fights.
I enjoy the HBO commentary by Roy Jones and Jim Lampley, but I wish they would replace the often silly Max Kellerman with someone with better insight, perhaps a trainer like James Ali Bashir, John Skully, John David Jackson, or Nazim Richardson.

showtime lost so much money with those mayweather fights and haymon fighters fighting patsies, it was a horrible year for boxing

HBO has fallen a bit this year but showtime is downright horrendous
I can't remember the last time I watched showtime, they have shown horrific mismatches

Do you think that Top Rank & HBO lost money on the Pacquiao-Algieri event, which Manny received a $25m payday that was partially funded by the paltry 300K PPV buys?
I know that Macau, China, is supposed to be a tax-free haven, but that’s still a huge payday to fund!
im not sure about Top Rank, but its CBS and Les Moonves practically trying to force Floyd into fighting Pacquiao. Arum has said he wipes his ass with 10 million in the morning and HBO boxing is nothing more than a pimple on that companys buttox
thats a pretty desperate move IMHO and would not be done. I thought Floyd was his own boss though, what gives?

BeIN sports Espanol have been great this year, hopefully they'll grow their coverage of the sport. HBO and Showtime have done more harm than good for the most part this year.
