What did you just watch?

I thought it might be kind of fun to mention a fight from the past that you watched recently...maybe for the first time, or the 100th time.
I'm sure most here have a stockpile of classic fights. Even if you don't, there's always YouTube and cable On Demand :)

I just watched Bob Foster KO.4 Dick Tiger (1968) on ESPN Classic.
First time I had ever seen this fight. Foster wins the Light Heavyweight championship.
Foster improved to 30-4, Tiger fell to 57-18-3.

I had been meaning to watch more of Foster, nice jab and he can punch :TU:

I have been transferring my collection from VHS to DVD..It has taken me 18 months I think so far ... The last of which I done last night was Henry Cooper vs Jose Urtain...very interesting..both boxers battered and bloody by the end. Also Gavilan vs Silent Hairston...a terriffic match!

I have been watching some England and Irish Amateur boxers in Internationals from the 80's. I also have been watching US boxers from the 70's and 80s when they were amateurs on Youtube.

Max Baer (65-12) W.RTD.7 Tony Galento (77-25-5) from 1940.
This fight was late in both boxers careers.
Good ol' Two Ton. Can't help but like him :)

I just watched Foster vs Tiger myself. I've only seen Foster against Frazier, Quarry & Griffith. I need to watch more of his fights myself.

I started watching light heavyweight fights of the 70's & 80's a few years ago & was amazed at the quality of the fights. This was a great division! I could watch Yaqui Lopez any day!
