I'm sorry, I know that this should be on the International page but there are some muppets on there.

Here is his 'loss' against King. I know he was being lackadaisical but I don't think it was a proper stoppage. What do you think?

He wasn't hurt,but wasn't firing back either,so the ref probably did what he is supposed to do.

It looks a bad stoppage but Stiverene only has himself to blame. He looked seriously gassed and out of shape.

I disagree about the gassed part. I thought he was just showboating. But he wasn't shipping any punishment either. Refs shouldn't stop fights just because someone is throwing punches.

No, he didn't. Stiverne was firing back. It was an appalling stoppage.

It wasnt a great stoppage, but like you say, he wasn't doing himself any favours with a lacklustre showing there.

I looked back at this the other day, after saying I thought Stivernes could beat Wlad, not even realising he had already been stopped ! But Looking at that, I still reckon he's got a great chin, and at the top of his game, he's got a big heart and might just be the best heavyweight out there.

He showed a serious chin, firepower and cojones winning the title, he will surely obliterate Diontay in short order. And big Wlad will not fancy having that chin tested against this guy...

Ok so he threw one or two back,but he didn't seem interested and he was getting hit,also i never said it was a good stoppage,read my posts properly,as it happens i though it was the wrong decision,but like i said,the ref did what he should do,or maybe he could have stopped the action and asked Stiverne to throw more punches

He was taking some clean shots and at that weight the ref has a duty to step in. Just because he wasn't falling about doesn't mean he was ok.

Fair stoppage for me, that.

Nope. Awful, awful stoppage.

I've seen a lot worse stoppages

However, a few shots before it was stopped he looked like he was gone

I can see why Ref stopped it but no doubt it was a bad call. Stiverne has ability, reminds me of a big heavy back in the 70s called Leroy Jones.

Bloody hell, I've never seen that before, bloody terrible stoppage. On top of that the ref should have stepped in to warn King for punching away whilst holding the rope with his left hand.

Stiverne has a habit of standing about half blocking shots though, he did it a few times against Arreola too. Makes him look in worse nick than he is.
