that's the one I had in my mind. I was just reading about it in his book the other day. Carl can remember all his fights, but parts of this fight he has no recollection of at all.
and a bloody sad state of affairs it is too !handsofstone wrote:I'm sure i read recently that Froch/Pascal was the last world title fight on terrestrial TV until Hall/Caballero few weeks backmagwitch wrote:SteveDow wrote:If it's the 6th anniversary it's Froch v Pascal and Pacman v De la Hoya

Nigh on 6 years is pretty long, has it ever been as dry as that for a world title fight on council TV?
.........I'm sure I read in the build up to Hall - Caballero it was longer, 10 years or so. This time last month I'd have told you exactly which fight but it's gone..handsofstone wrote:I'm sure i read recently that Froch/Pascal was the last world title fight on terrestrial TV until Hall/Caballero few weeks backmagwitch wrote:SteveDow wrote:If it's the 6th anniversary it's Froch v Pascal and Pacman v De la Hoya

Yep, I was there as well, absolutely epic. I remember watching some of the shots being thrown in the first three rounds and saying there was no way this was going the distanceste1983 wrote:Froch v Pascal, was at the fight still one of the best I've seen live.
