I personally see Banks as a big favourite, but he is only 5/4 to win. Am I missing something? Who are you backing?

Banks was suspiciously pathetic in the Mitchell rematch,he clearly could have got Seth out of there early again but chose not to

Tarver still has something at some level,depends how much into PED's he was/is into,im gonna say Tarver stop Jonathan late on

Also Austin Trout fights Luis Grajeda in the billtopper tonight,should be interesting,Trouts been down in his last 3 fights,last time out against Dawson he was down twice and hurt way more than he was against Alvarez and Lara but got up to get the UD,i seen Grajeda's loss against Willie Nelson last time out and i had it close(96-94 Nelson) and Grajeda's a banger,should be a fun fight,i reckon Trout outpoints him

Good analysis there Hands. I can't seriously put money on Banks after the Mitchell farce. I fancy Tarver but not confident on either tbh!

Should be plenty of action on the card tonight. Heavyweight hopefuls in Washington and Breazeale in action as well as Edwin Rodriguez and that is without the two fights you've mentioned. A very decent card for FNF.

Sergio Mora and Rico Ramos are on the card too plus some other decent prospects,FNF shows are usually on for 2 hours but this ones 3 hours so hopefully we'll get most of the action rather than Teddy's 3 months of regressed anger pouring out for half the broadcast

I wonder what his take on the Pascal/Bolonti farce last week

I know Teddy has his knockers(not just under his shirt these days haha) but I think he gives a good breakdown of fights with his fight plan and has the fighters best interest at heart, especially when it comes to judges and referees.

I love the deadpan face when the camera goes to him and he pauses for about 3 minutes before going off on one

Hope tonight we get some Teddy gold.

I've stuck Tarver to win and Trout on points in a double. Also stuck an extra hour on the record, got a feeling it might run over.

Trout was just starting to up the pace before Grajeda retired after 7,i dont know if Luis came into the fight with an injury because he wasnt at the races at all and i seen his demeanour deteriate from about the 5th onwards so wasnt that surprised to see him quit

Tarver's finish was excellent and he can still defo do the bizz if he gets his opponent in trouble but i cant see him having much at the next level,Banks was awful again,even worse than the Mitchell rematch,at least then he had a good start in that fight,he just fought the fight with the mentality of a lot of journeymen we see who have no desire to win,cant believe he trains the HW champ of the world although i would imagine his input is minimal,still he looks like he doesnt know how to throw punches,he was a pretty decent fighter too but looks either petrified or uninterested

I didn't know that Grajeda's mother had passed recently, looked to me like he just came to last a few rounds and call it a day, his head is probably in bits and shouldn't really have been fighting.

Do you see much left in Trout? Can't see him being anything but a name, probs one last payday. I remember when he beat Cotto, I thought he looked a totally different fighter from now and it was only 2 years back.

Banks should call it a day. Another poor showing and it looked like he wanted a way out to me. God knows what Wlad must be thinking.

The robbery against Cave was terrible, even Escandon's mother would struggle to find him 3-4 rounds in that fight! They mentioned the winner being up for Quigg's WBA strap, would look like a mini Frampton v Quigg if it does happen and I'd favour Quigg to outwork Escandon over 12, wouldn't fancy a stoppage.

Wasn't a great show overall but we had everything from Teddy, ranting, the touching speech at his charity, the fight plan and even a bit of old singing haha

I've heard it said that some fighters go into 'sparring partner' mode after years of gym work with big names, is Banks going into 'trainer mode' I wonder as he seems to have ZERO competitive instinct these days?
