Tyson Cave could have EASILY won every round, I had it 11-1 and watched it with the sound off!
Worst decision I have ever seen, the fix was def in but when is it going to stop?

When boxing stops I suppose or we go back to the old school finish fights.
That's the worst decision I can remember seeing this year. None of the judges turned in a reasonable card. 117-111 for Escandon was CJ Ross level crazy, maybe even worse.
Escandon won maybe 2 rounds, the 12th since Cave did a lot of running, but still the better boxing (must have thought he had it in the bag), and I think the 3rd or 4th.
Teddy is going to have an aneurism ringside one of these days.

The usual stuff... the sport has no credibility, the judges are cowards, congress should launch an investigation, etc- Some good ranting, but what will come of it?

Actually got a SportsCenter alert on my phone, specifically regarding Teddy's outrage. May have to check that out.

I thought Teddy was gonna start crying with rage he very nearly threw a wobbler,his heartrate was probably going back to normal after the break but it'll be back to square 1

Poo scoring though,i never scored it but my feeling before the results were about 118-110 Tyson Cave,give or take a couple rounds,feel bad for Cave i bet Escandon couldnt believe his luck,i just hope he made it out alive with Atlas attacking him

I was in Caves corner. One of the saddest things I've ever seen.

Gradovich v Velez draw when Gradovich comfortably won 8 rounds

One judge had Hopkins Shumenov a draw when IMO Hopkins schooled him by winning every round and floored Shumenov making it 120 -107

kameda v Hernandez was no way an SD Kameda won 9 rounds or more for me.

The other horrible thing is this fight was for the WBA Interim Super Bantamweight title

Having WBA World Super Bantamweight champion Scott Quiggs trainer and promoter parading him around as a world champion is bad enough.

With Rigo being the actual WBASuper bantamweight champion this leaves 3 world champions by the WBA what a load of rubbish.

Shumenov winning would have been an even bigger robbery than this, but last night's 117-111 card for Escandon is just so damn nutty, given that Cave deserved to win by at least the same score (it was a shutout per the Facebook scoring and Atlas had it 11-1). Caiz Jr could have at least tried to downplay his bias a bit by turning in a close card.

Caught the footage of Atlas but never seen the fight itself. Boxing has bad scoring, but it also has corruption. Remember CJ Ross scored Floyd vs Canelo are draw and Bradley 115-113 over Pacquioa? Not only are they 2 of the worst scorecards i've ever seen (i gave Canelo & Bradley 2 roudns max), but it was done in fights of the 2 most high profile stars in boxing, yet nothing was done about it - these people are bulletproof.

This is exactly why no one should EVER make a UD wager. You just don't know what one person is watching (or being paid).

Cave does lots of unecessary cocky stuff in the ring... always called him the canadian augustus... like augustus, the showboating made him lose key fights because judges hate that stuff... No excuses though, this was a horrible decision no doubt.

However, the average boxing fan has the "deal with it" mentality so these things won't change.
