Narvaez-Inoue

I think this is a very good match-up. Narvaez looked good in his last fight and is obviously far more experienced, but Inoue looked excellent in dismantling Hernandez I think this may be his time. Additionally, while Inoue is moving up two divisions he was huge at the weight he previously fought at, and I don't expect him to be outsized. If he does win fairly, I think he should be considered a top contender for FOTY, though being a Japanese fighter at a light weight who has never fought on a major US network doesn't bode well for his chances of being given that label.

Thoughts?

According to his dad Inoue is apparently a natural 115lb guy and in fairness Narvaez is a small guy at the weight. I've been big on Inoue since his debut and suspect he'll win here but have SERIOUS questions asked of him.

If he somehow stops Narvaez legitimately then he's got to be the Fighter of the Year despite what the BS American press say.

It's a hell of a fight, great prospect (yeah yeah yeah by my own lights, thanks) versus long-in-the-tooth campaigner.

I think the timing's right for Inoue. That'd be two excellent scalps this year, & enough for him to net FOTY imo.

I don't bet but you have to be tempted by Narvaez there.

Wow at those odds.

I favor Inoue but not to that extent, and it's not as if foreigners never get decisions in Japan.

Wrong fight I'm afraid. Main fight always been 1/12. 1/16 is his brother, fighting Narvaez brother I think!

Inoue -650 at 5Dimes.

I like the over 8.5. Thinks this goes the route. Odds suggest Inoue wins on pts. Would
NEVER bet him at those horrible odds tho which are as bad as -1200 in spots.
