Since this seems to be a recurring topic that Floyd hasn't fought a boxer, what is Floyd's track record against fast boxers/pure boxers?

He totally dominated Marquez and apart from getting buzzed from Mosley dominated him too,although Shane was getting on

I could've sworn that many said Oscar was a boxer, so was Shane and the aforementioned JMM. I can only recall 3 fighters that I would consider pure Brawlers that Floyd has faced; Jesus Chavez, Ricky Hatton and Gatti (even though he tended to box more than he brawled but do to insufficient defense he had to resort to toe to toe).

Fast boxers like Shane and Oscar, he is undefeated, the rest weren't in that class with their speed. There are many others that some people probably consider Brawlers but I might not agree with.

I thought that Jose Louis Castillo gave him a run for his money!

I'm pretty sure that Floyd has a perfect record against boxers.

Who is then? By that definition there's very few pure boxers out there.

I noticed mosley and judah were fast boxers. Mayw shut them down by an aggressive approach, making them pay for mistakes. Delahoya was big and mw eluded him.
Khan is littler and very fast, with a glass chin and a lot of balls. I imagine mw would try to goad khan into making mistakes and then counter.

I thought Judah did great against Mayweather. Equal, or near speed seems to bother him. I had Floyd winning 7-6 in rounds, plus Judah should have been credited for a knockdown. Thus my card was 114-113 for Floyd. The score cards in that fight were a joke. I think Khan could pose some of those same problems as Judah did. Although he probably has less one punch power, I think his jab is better, and controls range better.

Mosley won the first two rounds and had Floyd in trouble in the second. It would have been interesting to see a Mosley that could have pulled the trigger in against Floyd.

I believe I may have had that fight as a draw, IIRC. I believe I gave Judah rounds 1-4 and the 11th or 12th or both (I forget). And Judah definitely should have gotten a knockdown. However, the rounds that Floyd won, he won big. I remember after the low blow fiasco, Floyd seemed a bit bothered and was not fighting the same. For me, it was a whole lot closer than the cards suggested.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that fight close. I don't remember what exact rounds I gave Judah without watching it again, but I know I gave him 4 out of the 6 rounds in the first half of the fight. In usually Judah fashion he tanked the second half of the fight, but I think I gave him the 11th or the 12th, for 5 total rounds. Adding the missed knockdown, this was a razor thin decision realistically......

This topic keeps coming up because guys like you make sure it does, by posting multiple threads about the same damn thing.
