mundine rabchenko rematch

WBC orders a rematch. I think its the best that the Man can ask for myself. No one else really cares.
Certainly not top 10 guys. Is it now worth going on? Thoughts?

Can't see why a rematch is needed as Mundine was no doubt the winner as Rabchenko despite his reputation as a puncher, was rather loath to get in and mix it up with Mundine, and was out boxed and out foxed.
Seems that Hatton cant accept that the better man won and is playing politics to save face.

Rabchenko was hard enough work first time around for Mundine. His ribs wouldn't have forgotten it in a hurry. No Mundine will be looking for the easiest target with a belt. Not a 50/50 fight with Rabchenko.

Cant blame him for wanting to get the Bundrage fight IMO especially if he can land it in Aussie.
that would be the best fight to win a title.
Beating Bundrage would then open a few more doors simply because he becomes the champ

Two Hope's Bob and None. Mundine doesn't need Rab anymore.

I think mundine got the hometown decision personally, he won't rematch though, this will end up being the second time he is stripped of an interim title

^^^what Mundine told BS.
Says he is open to a rematch which shouldn't be a surprise but hasn't received any notification from the WBC and will appeal if he does hear from them.
No mention of a fight with Bundrage. Was hoping a Mundine/Bundrage fight would be next, I think it would be a great opportunity for both fighters.
Anthony says he's going to fight a "well known former world champion".

Mundine being his usual contradictory self.
Amongst his waffle he claims :
"Watching the fight back I thought I won it 8 rounds to 4." - reality check, are you sure you watched the right fight? Then again Mundine claimed to have watched his second fight with Geale over & over afterward and claimed he won that too
"I'm not going to fight a fringe contender." - reality check, a fringe contender would be a step up from nearly everyone you ever fought.

A rematch would have the same result. Only maybe Mundine will get a more deserved UD, instead of the SD they gave him before! I gave that fight to Mundine by atleast 2 rounds! He was up 5 rounds to 1 after 6! Rabchanko was very sloppy, as I expected. Mundine was to much of a step up for Rabchenko. It was also great to see Mundine turn back the clock and attack a like he use to at SMW!
Good to see there are a lot of pathetic haters on here. It must be hard living such miserable lives.
TEAM MUNDINE all day!

There's no disputing that Rabchenko won more rounds in the 2nd half of the fight. But, most of these rounds he won purely because he was pressing forward more than Mundine. He was landing many punchesm either. There were probably only two of his punches that I would say hurt Mundine. Rabchencko spent pretty much the first 6 rounds having his ears boxed off.
A Mundine hater is always going to hate but ey!

Well, I had it 5-3 Mundine at that stage. WOW, the judges had it level after 8. Just because the judges had it even, does not mean at all we should all be like "oh, they must be right"! Can you remember when Mayweather Jnr fought Canelo Alvarez? I should be asking you if you actually know who they are... But CJ Ross - one of the judges - gave that fight a draw! It just goes to show that judges don't always get it right, for whatever reason!

It was announced during the fight the judges had it level after 8 rounds. If you have actually watched the fight you would have to know that

I watched the fight with great pride and excitement! As I said in my last comment. Just because the judges have it "even" after 8 rounds, doesn't mean we should all agree. Take it as you like. Mundine won regardless, and he will win again in a rematch. Although Rabchenko should probably focus on the same class B opponents he had been fighting for years before he fights for a world title...

I had it even after 8 and gave the last to Mundine but I think he lost the rounds in between. But hey it was a close fight.
I wanted a Mundine victory but in order to secure a big fight he had to Dominate. I certainly don't think he did that.
No I think Anthony should not beat around the bush any longer by fighting a 'well known' former champion, I mean that could be anyone.
This is 'Sydney or the Bush' for Team Mundine.

It was close. It all depends on how you personally judge fights i suppose. I really hope his next fight isn't a time waster fight! Molina, Smith or Trout would be good, just to keep him active against good opponents.

All say what you want MUNDINE did enough to win

Hatton claims his boy WUZ ROBBED, SO WHY WAS MR HATTON SCREAMING AT RABCHENKO TO KNOCK MUNDINE OUT BEFORE THE START OF THE LAST ROUND YES AT THE END OF ROUND 11 HE WAS BEGGING HIS FIGHTER FOR A KNOCKOUT.
AND DON'T NO CLOWN SAY HATTON WAS TOLD BY NOSTRADAMUS THE ROBBERY WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, BECAUSE THEIR WAS NONE.

Not a lot in the fight but Mundine won it. I couldn't believe the judges had it even after 8. Don't know what fight those 2 judges were watching. One had it even and one to Rabchenco. Mundine won the fight move on.
