When Lionel Rose successfully defended his World Bantamweight title against Alan Rudkin in 1969, he also won the British Empire title which was held by Rudkin.
Vic Toweel defended both his World & British Empire Bantamweight titles against Danny O'Sullivan & Peter Keenan, before losing both to Jimmy Carruthers. In their rematch both the titles were again on the line.

Eckhard Dagge (WBC champion) and Maurice Hope (EBU champion) once fought a 15 round draw, which meant that they both had defended their title succesfully.

Benny Lynch never gave op his BBC or EBU titles when he became world champion. This meant that all three titles were at stake if he fought a british boxer.
