I've not got a problem with cabbies pursuing what they're owed. Lots of people try and get away with it.

I don't blame them but I really can't see Glenn McCrory not paying a £7 taxi fare.

I've met Glen at a show when we had both had a few, (York Hall), and he was nice as pie.

We're all capable of being a complete prannock now and then, but I don't instinctively believe Glenn would be aggressive to anyone who didn't deserve it. He's been retired a long time without anything like this happening, so my spidey sense says no.

As a side note, biggest head I've ever seen, especially in the head to body ratio, Gary Mason was also mastiff like in his headage. R.I.P.

So Glen has worked for sky for 25 years now, not long ago im sure he was declared bankrupt. does he have a problem with something that engulfs his money? Gambling/Booze/Poor investment... must be something as I guess sky pay him well.

It must be a nightmare being famouse or being in the lime light. Everywhere you go you're open to false alligations. You're a cash machine to every chancer and gold digger. One min you're poping down the shops for some milk, next you're in the paper for a kiss and tell or worse rape. Your career could over, for something that never happened.

Fair enough. Everyone has bad days/nights! Usually involves loads of drink :-)

How could you possibly make such an ill informed statement? You know nothing whatsoever of the case.

When you hear someone say they're "baffled" by an accusation, the first thing you think is well they're not denying it.... But possibly hinting things are a bit hazy, and there may have been some sort of ....err "misunderstanding" :D

I met him too at York Hall a few years ago. Seemed a really nice guy who was happy to have a chat about boxing.
